Loving your fur baby as my own!
I grew up with dogs since I was a kid- everything from German Shepherds and Great Danes to chihuahuas! While I don't have any formal training, I have always been around animals and learned a lot through personal experience. My husband and I rescued our five year old chihuahua from a rescue agency in West Virginia and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It taught me a lot about the dedication, love, and patience it requires to make a rescue feel safe and comfortable. She is currently the only pet I have, but my family also has two chihuahuas so it's always fun to get them all together! I also have experience taking care of sick/elderly dogs. I lost my soul dog last year who suffered from heart failure and required nearly 24/7 care. I am a registered nurse with a background in cardiology, so it really hit home for me. Being in the medical field, I am naturally attentive to detail, compassionate, and have a strong regard for safety and communication. All of these things also apply when it comes to taking care of pets! Anyone that knows me knows my unwavering love for animals, especially dogs!

I recently moved into a house where my dog finally has her first own backyard which has been such a joy to watch! I love basking outside in the sun with her and never leave her unattended. Around the house, she has plenty of spaces to cozy up and make her own. Whether it's walking in the neighborhood or staying around the house, I am always on high alert and aware of my surroundings. The same thing would apply for anyone else's pet whether it's in my home or the comfort of their own.

Olivia was fantastic! She came over for a meet-n-greet and asked questions about my dog’s care and got to know her so she’d be comfortable with her while we were away. She stayed in touch, letting me know when she arrived to our house each day, how the walk went, gave treats and sent me pictures. This was my first time using Rover and Olivia made it a great experience. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again next time I need help with my dog’s care 😊
Olivia is a very attentive and cautious pet caregiver making her a responsible and very trustworthy option for dog walking and her friendly and sweet personality only adds to her attributes. She is a great choice for Rover and your pets if you want them cared for and safe.

Schedule
I am currently taking a small hiatus from my nursing career so my availability is open at the moment. I am available on weekdays or weekends. Afternoons are preferred, but I don't have a set strict schedule and can be pretty flexible.
