Pet care experience

Hi, I love your dogs already!

At a glance: Full-time, insured Rover sitter since 2019 with extensive senior & medical care experience, fully supervised fenced yard, and a calm, home style boarding environment. Hi, I’m Olivia! 🐾 Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and dogs are truly my heart and soul. I’ve been a trusted pet sitter on Rover since 2019, and caring for animals is now my full-time profession. I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds. From a young age, I was exposed to a wide range of dog breeds, and through my work on Rover I’ve now cared for 40+ different breeds. Beyond dogs, I also have hands-on experience with cats, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs, parrots, reptiles, and other small animals. If it has paws, hooves, feathers, or scales, there’s a good chance I’ve worked with it! I’m a Florida native, born and raised on the Space Coast, and currently living in Palm Bay with my fiancé, Jacob, and our three friendly dogs — Oso and Eko (Boston Terriers) and Nina (Chihuahua). Our pups are well-socialized and comfortable hosting new friends. When I’m not caring for your pets, I enjoy painting, tending to my houseplants, traveling, and spending time with my own dogs. I’ve previously volunteered and fostered with the Boston Terrier Rescue of South Texas, where I successfully placed multiple dogs into loving homes. I look forward to continuing rescue and volunteer work locally. I’m happy to provide in-home care or overnight stays in your pet’s own environment. I offer long walks, structured play, and plenty of enrichment, including access to our large fenced yard. I’m confident working with senior pets, special-needs animals, and medically complex care. I have extensive experience administering oral and injectable medications, including insulin for diabetic dogs and cats. I pride myself on being calm, attentive, and detail oriented. Especially when pets require extra patience, or monitoring. ⸻ 🏡 My Home & Care Setup (Boarding) Outdoor Space & Supervision My home has a large, secure privacy fenced backyard and a screened in pool. All outdoor time is 100% supervised -either myself or my fiancé is outside with the dogs at all times. There are no exceptions. This allows us to monitor play closely, prevent digging, and ensure extra safety around the pool. Feeding Arrangements All dogs are fed in separate rooms to completely eliminate the risk of food related stress or altercations. Each pet is able to eat comfortably at their own pace. Sleeping Arrangements This is not a kennel or boarding facility - it’s my home. I treat every dog like my own while always respecting your preferences. • Dog beds are available throughout the house • Dogs are welcome on the couch or in bed with me • Crating is fully respected if that’s part of your dog’s routine My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. Coming & Going Safety I take entry and exit safety very seriously, especially for door runners. I use a controlled side exit (laundry room → garage → outside) to prevent any dogs from slipping out the front door. When I need to leave the home briefly, no dogs are left unattended together. Pets are safely separated into individual rooms or crates, based on owner preference, to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. ⸻ 🛡️ Fully Insured for Added Peace of Mind While Rover offers the Rover Guarantee, it does have limitations. For added protection, I am fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) — a trusted provider for professional pet sitters, backed by Lloyd’s of London. This means you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, protected, and in capable hands. ——- I’d love to meet you and your pets, feel free to reach out with any questions! 😊

Olivia did a wonderful job taking care of our dog in our home over a long weekend. She was reliable, showed up exactly as scheduled, and communicated well throughout the stay, giving us peace of mind while we were away. She took great care of our pup. We would definitely book with Olivia again.

Olivia was absolutely fantastic! We had a meet and greet prior to our dogs stay and felt her home was dog friendly. Having a fence was important to us - which she does have. We received updates on how the doods were doing while we were gone and it sounded like things went really well. We felt they were very well cared for and will absolutely be calling Olivia back when the need arises.

I can’t recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she was professional, kind, and incredibly caring with my dog. She followed every instruction perfectly, kept me updated with messages and photos, and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about him and treated him like one of her own. When I came home, he was happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. It’s such a great feeling knowing I can trust someone with my pet, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our boy! ❤️

Olivia did great with our dog Gunner. Gunner is very shy around people but we can see that he trusted Olivia. We will definitely have her sit Gunner again.

I have no breed preferences, all dogs welcome here! Before booking with me I would just like to know more about your dog personally. His/Her likes and dislikes, favorite activities, and habits. This way I can make our time together as best for your dog as possible.
