I’m currently working part time, so I am very flexible. I work Tues Thurs Fri but am available after 6pm on those days. I travel periodically on the weekends but will make sure to keep my availability updated. Mondays and Wednesdays are typically very open for me!

When in your home I will be respectful of boundaries. I understand that for a dog, having a stranger enter your home can be overwhelming and scary. I will create a calm and welcoming environment, keep water bowls filled, respect the owner's wishes about toys/treats/furniture, and I will monitor the pup at all times if let outside to a fenced yard. Same goes for walks. I will always proceed with caution, even if your dog isn’t reactive. I keep a proper grip on leashes to ensure your dog can’t slip away. And I also make sure that walks are catered to your dog’s need for enrichment. If your dog prefers to sniff the same spot for 10 minutes, I’ll respect that.

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, fears, discomfort with being pet in certain places, etc. If your dog is reactive to certain wild animals or other dogs, please let me know so I can create a safe environment. Additionally, I would love to know more about your dog’s energy levels and over all preferred vibe. I can be calm or energetic, whatever you need! Lastly, if your dog has a preferred walking path let me know.
A typical day
On walks - I enjoy letting your pupper take their time getting good sniffs. I will tailor walks based on your dog’s preferences, fears, and reactions to other animals. If your dog likes hikes, I’m very happy to do that as well. Drop-ins - depending on what your pups activity levels are, I would love to provide play time in or outside. I am also always down for some snuggle time to provide your baby with some company and comfort while you are away.

Pet care experience
I have experience with fosters, rescues, puppies, and the elderly dogs! I regularly take care of my mom’s 3 dogs and 4 cats, and I'm looking to take care of someone else's pup locally in Summit County. I can bathe, walk, feed, play with, and do so much more. In high school, I helped my mom foster dogs, so I understand the care and patience that goes into meeting any dog. I have a basic understanding of puppy training, and I am familiar with treat training. I am also very good with beagles :)

Olivia is one of the most kind and compassionate animal caregivers. She has grown up with dogs and cats. She has taken care of my animals for several years on numerous occasions when I travel for work. I have three dogs and three cats. She is attentive to each animal’s needs, follows my feeding instructions and takes lots of pictures that she texts to me while I am away. I always return to happy fur babies! I think they love Olivia more than me!
