Availability
I currently work full time as a teacher. Work ends at 3:30, so during the week I’m primarily available to check in, walk your pup, and hang out for a little while if need be. I love going outside, so I’m more than happy to take dogs for long walks! I can only do overnight care on the weekends since I teach during the week, and I live in an apartment currently so I can’t board any animals. Starting June I am on summer break and so I have a lot more availability :)

I have little experience in terms of professional training, but I’m always looking to learn from resources around me. I know lots of tips from online resources, and I have plenty of experience handling dogs from growing up; I was responsible for feeding and walking the dogs. I will love on your pet as if they were my own and treat them as such!

I don’t really have any preferences in terms of breeds, I just need a general description of their behavior, routine, and if they have any reactivity so I can accommodate. I wouldn’t want to take a dog into a situation that would stress them, so reactivity or sensitivity are particularly important to know ahead of time
A typical day
I love taking dogs outside, it’s so good for them. Whether that’s playing fetch outside, or going for a nice long walk, I want to get the dogs active. I enjoy playing games with both cats and dogs, it’s so fun to get them going with toys and see them really activate their minds. I like to explore areas around, like greenways and such.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and have plenty of experience caring for them. I pet sat frequently growing up, and helped my roommates in college with their animals (taking them out, caring for them, walking them, taking them to dog parks). I also have experience caring for cats and chickens, so I’m really up for whatever!
