Olivia can look after
Availability
I work a very flexible job at the cruise terminals and so I am able to commit to taking care of your pets during the day, overnight or walking them with a broad availability. In most cases I can try to move my work around if it is a last minute request but this is situational and gladly open to conversations to discuss :)

Information Olivia D. would like to know about your pet
I can work around your preferences and needs for your pet and make sure they have as much fun as possible whilst you’re away! It’s important for me to know of any special requirements so I am prepared and always welcome to know your routines.
A typical day
Firstly, we will get up and make sure all bowls are filled and bladders emptied! Once toilet checks and foodies is complete, we will get ready together. Time for the first walk of the day! If your dog only needs one walk, we can save that for later in the afternoon. If the preference is twice a day, I can go by your schedule. Typically I’d like to walk the dogs in woodlands. Connecting with nature is important and refreshing, and I love allowing dogs to do this too. Back at the house, we will have lots of play time followed by a treat (if allowed) and then cuddles. Ensure dinner time is when you’d like them to be fed and potty is regular. Involving them in what I’m doing is essential for me to have bonding time.. but if they want to do their own thing, I’ll just ensure they feel comfortable to approach me whenever.

Pet care experience
Whilst I spent 3 months in USA in 2022, I was blessed to be surrounded by many animals. I was also trusted to housesit for a cat and dog for 2 weeks which included dog walking and spending quality time with my new friends. During my travels, many cats became drawn to me and I gained lots of attachments with many of them. I have also helped out friends to take care of their lovely dogs a few times in the past. I believe having a connection with an animal is truly one of the best feelings to exist. I have just returned from my travels around Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Indonesia between January 22nd to April 13th 2025. Last year I travelled South East Asia which was from January 15th-March 30th 2024. I went to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. Each country was incredibly insightful and each set of travels I had the opportunity to be around more animals which was very important to me also. Although I got to see lots of beautiful land animals such as many cheeky monkeys, I completed my PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course in the Philippines and this has inspired me to volunteer in the future for a marine conservation. I got the incredible opportunity back in February this year (2025) to dive in the Great Barrier Reef; which was such an experience. I have been with Rover for 3 years now and I cannot express my gratitude enough for every single client I have had; with most becoming frequent clients of mine! Alongside Rover, I am currently working at the cruise terminals which is a job I enjoy throughly; and also offers me great flexibility! This enables me to fit work around my other enjoyment, which is this; pet sitting! It also offers up the opportunity for us to have conversations on your requirements and for the time I have being a pet sitter, I have had great success in managing both jobs very well, with happy clients 😻. I believe cuddles are very important with your animals; (as long as they want to of course). When I sit your pet for the first time, I get to know the animal and see how they work. Once the animal feels calm and I get a sense of how they are around me, I will start to gain a connection with the animal to build trust and comfort. I like to make sure they’re all cosy and taken care of, and most importantly, take and send lots of photos!!!!

Reviews

Olivia did a drop in visit for my cat Jelibeans and sent loads of lovely photos. She was very thorough and Jelibeans was clearly happy and comfortable.

Olivia was great - very professional and helpful in her communication with us, and great with our dog. I felt very reassured leaving him to be looked after by her for the night.

Olivia had great communication and was very patient with our 4 month old husky. Olivia was amazing at helping us out last minute and our little puppy really seemed to warm to her. Will definitely be using Olivia as a sitter again in the future! Thank you so much Olivia 😌

Olivia was wonderful! The best judge of a dog sitter are the dogs themselves and they loved her. From a human point of view Olivia was flexible, knowledgeable, and interested in the wellbeing of the dogs. She was also completely trustworthy and reliable.
