My professional life is entirely self-managed and remote, meaning I work on my own terms with no fixed office hours. This allows me to prioritize your pet’s existing schedule above all else. Whether they need mid-day medication, specific walk times, or constant companionship, I can work from anywhere and easily adapt my day to meet their needs. Your dog will never be a 'side project' they will be my primary focus while I work from your home or mine.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities. Having raised a headstrong German Pinscher and delicate Coton de Tulears, I am naturally vigilant about environment and behavior. Because I work from home on my own terms, your pet is never left unsupervised; they become my 'coworker' for the day.

Information Olivia C. would like to know about your pet
• Health & Diet: Any allergies, specific feeding times, or medication requirements (I’m very comfortable administering these). • Behavioral Quirks: Are they 'velcro' dogs who need constant contact, or do they prefer their own space while I work? • Walking Style: How are they on a leash? Do they have any triggers (squirrels, other dogs, or bikes) I should watch for on Vancouver’s busy trails? • The 'Pinscher' Factor: Do they have any stubborn streaks or specific commands they respond best to? I value consistency in training. • Home Comforts: Where do they sleep, and what are their favorite ways to self-soothe when they miss you?
A typical day
I’m an avid walker and love exploring the beautiful trails and vibrant neighbourhood paths around Vancouver. Whether it’s a brisk trek through local forest trails or a steady stroll through town, your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Coming from the UK, I’m used to walking in all weathers, so rain or shine, your pup will get their steps in! I love matching the pace to the dog—from high-energy trail runs for breeds like my former German Pinscher to gentle, scenic wanders for smaller companions like my Cotons.

Pet care experience
I’ve been hands-on with dogs my entire life, moving from Labradors to Goldens and then taking on the challenge of a German Pinscher. I was deeply involved in the training of all my dogs, including the Pinscher, which required immense patience and consistency. Before moving to Canada, I provided full-time care for two Coton de Tulears, so I’m well-versed in everything from high-energy mental stimulation to meticulous grooming and companionship. Since I work from home on my own terms, your pup will have my undivided attention all day!
Reviews

Olivia took great care of our 12-week-old shepherd mix. We had never used a dogsitter before and were nervous. But from the first meet-and-greet to pick-up after our first booking, she reassured us with her experience, calm and enthusiasm for dogs, especially energetic puppies (which was important to us!). Highly recommend!

Olivia was great with our one year old puppy, Daisy Mae! Daisy felt right at home straight away thanks to Olivia’s care. Olivia gave us multiple updates throughout the day and made sure Daisy had everything she needed!

Olivia is the best! Couldn’t recommend her enough. So attentive to my puppy and provided constant updates! Would definitely recommend leaving your pup w her! 10/10 experience

Olivia was amazing! She took such great care of Farofa, and you could tell Farofa loved staying with her. She made her feel really comfortable at home, took her on walks, to the dog park, and played a lot with her. Farofa got tons of love and attention, and I really appreciated all the cute photos Olivia shared during the stay. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!
