Within half a mile are three dog parks which are easily accessible. Several high-quality veterinarians are within close proximity to their neighborhood with District Veterinary Hospital in Eastern Market serving as their go to.

Olivia has had a lot of exposure to a diverse group of animals and a plethora of various pet experiences – she grew up with two dogs, two cats, and her siblings routinely had a rotating bunch of rabbits and guinea pigs. Olivia and Nick’s favorite things to do with the dogs they watch is take them to the Navy Yard docks, Southwest Waterfront, and National Mall. Especially on the National Mall, they love to take the pets they are sitting to the Capitol, Washington Monument, and Lincoln Memorial.

Pet care experience
Olivia is the proud and happy owner of two adopted kittens – Melba (a dark domestic shorthair) and Cutie (a light domestic shorthair calico). Cutie and Melba came front the Crumbs & Whiskers Café in Georgetown! At the end of 2019, right before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cutie and Melba were adopted together. Both are affectionate, friendly, well-behaved cats who love to be loved.
