NOT your average dog sitter!
Just returning to the app! My entire life has revolved around animals. I grew up in a family that always adopted the “unadoptable” dogs — seniors, medical cases, and those with behavioral challenges. That gave me early, real-world experience managing everything from reactivity and anxiety to advanced medical needs. For years, I worked professionally in animal rescue, boarding facilities, and under skilled dog trainers. I’ve fostered dozens of dogs with both behavioral and medical special needs, including those requiring strict medication schedules, wound care, and post-surgical recovery. I am comfortable with dogs of every breed, size, and temperament - from bully breeds to working dogs to seniors who just need gentle support. Because of my background, I know the difference that years of experience makes. I know from personal experience with my dogs what happens when pet owners are left with sitters who aren’t equipped to handle more than the basics. My goal is to offer the kind of care I expect for my own dogs: knowledgeable, reliability, and peace of mind. When your dog is with me, you can feel confident that they’re being cared for by someone who has dedicated years to understanding and working with animals at every level.

Olivia was amazing. My slightly anxious dogs warmed up to her immediately. She is experienced, trustworthy, and a lovely person.
Our 8-month-old puppy had such a great time with Olivia that he came home all tuckered out from so much playtime, he actually didn't even want to leave! It was our first time boarding our dog with someone but she sent us pictures and video updates to ease our minds. The house was very clean and welcoming and the backyard was the perfect enclosed space for lots of running in the grass. We will definitely be contacting Olivia again in the near future for more boarding!!! If there were an option, I’d leave 6 stars!!!

Schedule
I work from home with a fully flexible schedule, so I can tailor care around your dog’s needs. Your pup will have constant supervision and attentive care throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on 5.5 acres in Santa Barbara. We also have a fully fenced yard, which is the only area visiting dogs are ever allowed off leash unless told otherwise by their owner. Our property includes hiking trails, streams, and a full sunroom for sunbathing! If staying in your home, I’m happy to accommodate whatever routine your dog is used to!
Pets
A typical day
Dogs can enjoy playing together in the yard, hiking the property, or sunbathing on the ranch throughout the day if they are boarding with us. If I am staying at your home, we will do neighborhood walks every day unless told otherwise! I’m happy to take them on other outings as well, but will only do so with owner permission.
