Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I take care of my own dog at home. I’m responsible for feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, and keeping a consistent schedule. I make sure my dog gets plenty of attention, and outdoor time, so fitting in walks and drop‑ins for other pets feels natural for me. Caring for my own dog has taught me patience, consistency, and how to adjust routines based on each pet’s needs.

About Oliver B.
Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are always my priorities. At home, pets have a calm, supervised environment, and I’m used to managing feeding, exercise, and routines because I care for my own dog daily. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and maintain their dog’s normal routine. No matter where I’m caring for a pet, I focus on clear communication, safety, and making sure every dog and client feels comfortable and knows they're in good hands.
Information Oliver B. would like to know about your pet
I like to know a few basics before I watch a pet, their routine, energy level, and how they do on walks. It’s also helpful to know if they’re shy, pull on the leash, or have any habits I should be aware of. Feeding instructions, treats, and any allergies are important too. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to keep their day smooth, safe, and comfortable.
A typical day
A typical day is pretty active. I usually have multiple walks or drop‑ins with different clients, so I’m out and about most of the day. During drop‑ins, I make sure they get fresh water, food if needed, and some time to play or relax. For fun, I like neighborhood walks, fetch, exploring safe spots nearby, or just hanging out if they’re more low energy.

Pet care experience
I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and other pets. I grew up in a home with animals and have been responsible for feeding, walking, basic training, and daily care for dogs of all ages. My home has also been a safe, comfortable space for Rover clients through my family’s pet care, giving me experience with many different dogs, routines, and personalities. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, shy dogs, and everything in between. I always focus on safety, communication, and making sure every pet feels happy and cared for.
Reviews
Oliver has been around animals all of his life and knows the kind of care and kindness that they are counting on him to provide. I have full confidence in his abilities to give that type of attention to any animal.
