A cozy home away from home
Hello, dear fellow pet parents! My name is Olesia, and my family moved to Galesburg in October 2020. I am a stay-at-home mom of a 2 year old and a 6 month old humans, 2 senior miniature poodles (who are very much puppies at heart and very well-behaved), a young sweet and kind labradoodle who we adopted last year, and a kitty named Kitty. My husband and I have been around dogs and cats since childhood. We would love to help you and take care of your pet! We will treat him or her like family. I do have a request that your pet is good with babies. Our babies are fascinated with dogs and cats but they keep a respectful distance. Thank you!

This family really saved me! They graciously watched my 16 1/2 year old dachshund, Levi while I was on a weekend trip. He loved his stay (I think he was mad I was taking him home haha) and also loved one of their dogs so much too. I received pics and messages all weekend—keeping me updated on his vacation! He definitely felt like he was at home staying with them, he was so cozy taking his naps in several of the pictures. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to take him!!!
Olesia is the only person I would trust to care for my babies. She loves animals and is so caring and patient – her ability to calm an anxious dog and keep a hyper dog moving and happy is unmatched. Olesia took care of my dog, Doe, back when I first got her and she was only a few months old. Olesia sent me picture and video updates, and bonded immediately with her. She took equally good care of Doe as an adult, sending regular updates, and being extremely patient with some of Doe's bad habits (like barking). Doe was genuinely sad to leave once I picked her up! A testament to her care is her own experience with pet ownership; she has two adopted dogs (Fiona and Jack) who are as friendly as she is! They love meeting other dogs almost as much as her daughter does (who has never so much as pulled a tail). I'm so grateful to know someone like Olesia and her own family of rugrats who can take care of my little ones!
When it comes to dogs, Olesia is enthusiastic, adaptable, empathetic, and intuitive! She is genuinely excited to spend time with dogs and can easily adapt to meet their energy level. Olesia is also able to tune into how dogs are feeling and notices immediately if something is wrong. And with her experience and intuition, she's able to find the best solution. When I first adopted my dog, Olesia would watch him for me while I was at school. He had a lot of behavioral issues at the time, but Olesia was always patient and kind with him. Even though it was hard for me to leave him, I never had to worry because I knew he would be with someone who treated him with love and respect!
Olesia is absolutely great with all animals, especially dogs. She is patient, understanding, and is very intuitive of their needs. The joy she experiences while being with dogs is infectious and your dog will love to be around her. I would highly recommend Olesia for your dog-sitting needs.

Dates de la garde
I am currently staying at home with my human and fur babies and working on my dissertation. I accept boarding requests on the weekends because my husband can help me then to make sure the stay is as comfortable as possible.

I have a fenced yard and friendly fur babies to keep your pet company. I can easily crate my pets if needed, especially the sometimes high energy labradoodle.

We have a fenced backyard where our labradoodle likes to play fetch and chase squirrels. We can take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood as well if needed.
