I'm very aware whenever I'm at home with my cat because I always make a mental effort to make sure they have the basics: - food - water - of course, kitty litter I also want to make sure they're in a safe playing environment and that there's no exposure to harsh cleaning chemicals, exposed strings and open appliances (ie. Washer & dryer) sealed and contained. I personally like using toys like scratch mats, little mice toys, scratching vertical poles, and laser pointers to occupy them and not have them feel so bored and alone. When I'm resting at home, often do computer work to pass the time. often times, that's the signal for my cat to want to cuddle with me and lay in my lap ☺️
