I've had and have taken care of cats and dogs for more than 7+ years. I love all furry creatures and am an avid believer in positive reinforcement, consistency, and affectionate attention. I enjoy reading, baking, hiking, and camping on my spare time. My background is in behavioral science and pharmacology research, and I have some experience in animal training (mostly in lab settings with mice and rats - but the same general behavioral principles apply to all living organisms!). I love working with animals and learning how to train, so please feel free to let me know if there are any commands/tricks you’d like to work on or keep consistent and I’ll try my best! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I will always be in the same vicinity as the pet(s), attentive to their needs, and closely monitoring the surroundings and other parties. Walks will always be leashed. I will send once-daily updates with photos and videos through Rover or text, typically at end-of-day, or the morning-after, depending on owner's preferences.

Oanh was the best! She took such good care of our puppy and sent detailed daily updates and photos while we were out of town. She kept our 10 week old lab engaged the whole time, which is no small feat! Even our neighbors commented on what a good sitter we had. I would absolutely book with her again. No notes!
Oanh is an excellent pet sitter. My cat is very sensitive and has been through a lot, yet she handled him with so much care and patience. She followed every single instruction carefully and made sure he received all his medications exactly as directed. He truly loved her, which gave me so much peace of mind. She’s reliable, a great communicator, and updated me twice a day with detailed messages about him. I would absolutely trust her with Demitri again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Schedule
I am currently a pharmacology PhD student at UM, and I de-stress by taking care of our furry friends. That means I'm usually at home with them while studying, but unfortunately also means my schedule is more limited to weekends as I'm typically in lab M-F.
