I just moved back home to the Tampa Bay area and I live with family to help me take care of my fur babies while I am away looking after yours. My work is flexible so I am able to take breaks for walks or drop ins throughout the day depending on your location. I am free early morning, evenings and nights.

It’s important to me to get to know your pups normal routine and try to maintain as much regularity and familiarity as possible during my time with them. We will go to the parks they like, play with their favorite toys, and operate as close as we can to their normal schedule. I will spend lots of time bonding with them, and making sure that they are comfortable with me, and we won’t greet other dogs, take car rides, or go on brewery or hiking adventures unless these are things that are a normal and exciting part of their current routines.

A typical day varies from pet to pet. I want to get to know your best friend and tailor the day to their needs and preferences! But activities can include taking walks, going to the park, going for a run, playing with toys, or lots of cuddles and naps!

Pet care experience
I have had animals from leopard geckos and parrots to guinea pigs and hermit crabs and I found a passion for caring for animals at a very young age. I have been fostering puppies and kittens for 17 years and cared for my childhood dogs into their old age, so I have extensive experience with all ages and with administering medication. I’ve been working with river for several years now and my availability has changed over the years, after starting my career as a preschool teacher and adopting my own Maine Coon babies. My specialty now is in home care and drop ins while you are away. I understand how hard it is to leave your babies at home and to trust someone with their care. I am a true animal lover and I always treat your pets like I would want someone to treat mine.

Thank you for being so amazing again! My dog gets pretty riled up around other dogs but Nyssa was great with her as usual!

Nyssa was amazing! It was my first time leaving my kitten with anyone, so I was apprehensive about the whole finding a sitter on the internet thing. My kitty was instantly at ease (napping ON Nyssa day one ;-), and the pictures and updates were perfect. Shetan (my furball) even started using her new scratching post, which I attribute to Nyssa's magic. My apartment was so tidy when I returned, more so than it was when I left. Thanks, Nyssa!
