Hi - We are Nyle Lynn & Shane Maritch and our rescue dog is Moxy Bear. We are a wife (Nyle) and husband (Shane) animal care team. We do walks etc., in New York City and will be happy to be your pet's care provider. Shane does most of the early morning and late evening walks and drop-ins for safety reasons. He is wonderful with dogs and cats and spoils them rotten. Nyle does walks during lunch time and in the early evening when it's still light outside. Your pets safety has always been our first priority. We will be happy to be your dog or cat's caretaker. Please let us know which area of the city you & your furry friend are in when you send your request so we can make sure your furry BFF will fit in our schedules. We walk dogs on the Westside from approximately 100th-125th Street, but we also puppy sits at people's places separately further from home on occasion. Only one of us will be staying at your house if we are puppy sitting your dog because the other one of us needs to be at our home taking care of other dogs. If you're not too far from our part of the city send us a request and if it’s a reasonable distance we can probably make it work. We've have both been walking dogs since we were little kids. I (Nyle) grew up with cats and my first job was to walk the neighbor's dog, a beautiful Irish Setter named Rudy. I walked him, feed him, made sure he had fresh water, brought in the mail and made sure the house was secure. Then I went onto walking other dogs and eventually started taking care of a couple of dogs in my home. Shane had dogs and cats as a kid so he's been around them his whole life too. Taking care of dogs may be a job but for us it is a joy to be with them. We have a rescue dog, she is part of our family and we would do anything for her. So we know how important your pet is to you and will make sure your best friend is well taken care of. We will protect your animals as if they are my own. We are great puppy parents and creative professionals both working from home so we're here doing a lot zoom meetings, editing, and producing which means were on our screens a lot and enjoy getting out of our apartment and away from our screens to go walk your dogs. Your pets are often the best part of our day! We would love to take care of your furry friend for you. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Please tell us as much as you can about your furry friend and please list their vet on your Rover profile. We look forward to meeting you! Thanks, Nyle Lynn & Shane, & Moxy Maritch As with all Dog Walkers in NYC: Walks and drop-ins are done for 30 to 60 minutes within a 2-3 hour walk window based on the pets needs. So time of day or night is an estimate because dogs are unpredictable and our dog care schedule can change daily based on the doggies needs. For example I a client will say my dog needs a lunch time work anytime between 12noon-3pm or they need a late afternoon early evening walk between 3pm-6pm. So when you pick your Rover time put it in the middle of that window that works best for your dog and then also tell us your ideal time. However, if your dog or cat has medication that has to be give at a very specific time please make sure to tell us that so that we can make sure to make it there as close to that time as possible. Thank you! Dog Boarding and House Sitting are both per night, up to 24 hours. Dog Walking is per 30-minute walk. We do offer 60 minute walks but 30 is usually plenty for most dog breeds. And we can't do a 60 minute walk in the middle of our busy time from 11:30am-4:30pm Drop-In Visits are per 30-minute visit. Doggy Day Care is during the day up to 8 hours. If we Pick-Up & Drop-off your dog it’s an additional charge, if you do the picking up and dropping off there is no additional charge. Rates are higher for everything on Holidays because we are staying here to takes are of pups that we adore but of course we do miss our families too. If you are new to Rover I recommend having a list of favorite walkers and sitters for your pup. I use Rover for my dog too and that's what I have done. This way if something comes up and your main sitter/walker is not available you have already connected with people you know and trust. Shane and I cover each others walks the best we can in most cases but as a pup parent I still think it’s a good idea to have a list just in case. It also helps when you need to book last minute to have a variety of options. As I mentioned, Shane & I are creatives and we do things like making award-winning films etc., so sometimes we have shoots that come up. We try not to work on the same shoots so one of us is usually always available for the dogs and cats but every once in a while we are booked on the same shoot or we have a film festival we have to attend together, and in that case, we'll try to tell you as much in advance as possible if and when that happens. Please make sure your dog or cat is up to date with all its vaccines and flee free and that your Rover profile is filled out in full with all your dogs important information including who your dog’s vet is and an emergency contact person if you’re not reachable. Thank you!

Nyle and Shane were wonderful with my cat Frankie! They were attentive, punctual, and kept her busy throughout the weekend! I will definitely be booking them again!

Loving home with caring boarders. Very communicative. Would use again.
Shane and Nyle have provided loving care for Charlie when we have boarded him on multiple occasions. Highly recommended.
My pup has been enjoying her weekly recurring walks with Nyle.

Very easy drop off and pick up of our toy poodle. Even helped us find a parking spot.

Another great stay with Nyle and Shane!

Schedule
Shane (husband) does early morning and late night walks. We both do lunch time walks. The ideal workday walk widow is from 12noon -3pm because of course everyone who needs a lunch time walk requests 1pm but there are only two of us so we can't walk more than two dogs at that time. We do not do pack walks. The only time we walk more than one dog is if your do is staying with us or if you have given us permission to bring our dog on a walk with your dog. Some pet parents request that we bring Moxy if we can because then there doggie has a little puppy pal to play with. The majority of the time we do totally solo walks where your dog gets all of the attention and focus. So give us a 2-3 hour window that works for your pet and we will get to yours as soon as possible. If your pet is special needs or a puppy that is crated of course the walk window might be a 1-2 hour widow or a very specific time depending on it's medication so please specify this in your request. Or if you have a very important Zoom meeting and need your dog not to be there at a specific time let us know. We are flexible!

A typical day
I live very close to a park so your dog will get a great walk or run depending on it's mobility. I can even bring you dog to the dog park if you want me to and if your dog enjoys being social with other dogs. When we are inside we will play with balls and toy and learn tricks for treats.
