Growing up surrounded by furry friends, my love for animals has always been a big part of who I am. From playful pups and cuddly cats to quirky hermit crabs and snakes, my home has always been a haven for all kinds of critters. Nowadays, my husband and I proudly share our lives with five adorable cats and our sweet 13-year-old husky/beagle mix. My journey into pet care started back in Charlotte, NC, where I juggled bartending and waitressing while diving into the world of pet sitting with Rover. Eventually, I even launched my own pet sitting venture. Then, life led us on an exciting adventure to Costa Rica, where we opened a restaurant taking with us our six furry companions. Even amidst the tropical vibes, I continued pet sitting, caring for four energetic German Shepherds, cats, a horse, and even some mini pigs! Over the years, I've gained valuable experience in pet care. From giving medications (oral, topical, liquid) to providing extra love and attention, I'm here to ensure your furry friends are well taken care of. Need someone to give insulin shots to your diabetic cat? I've got you covered. Not to mention, I have extensive experience in post-surgery care for both cats and dogs. And with certification from the American Red Cross, you can trust that your pets are in safe hands. When I'm with your pets, rest assured they'll receive the same love and attention as if they were my own!

Nykohl was extremely pleasant, friendly and accommodating for my short notice booking. She kept me up to date with the visits and took many photos for me of my girls while I was gone. I was confident that my kitties were in good hands ❤️
This is the second time Nykohl has cared for my senior kitty who has kidney disease and requires subQ fluids. She is very loving and thorough and honest. I trust her and appreciate her help as she goes the extra mile to make sure my baby is healthy and eases her loneliness while I’m away. I highly recommend and will use her for as long as she continues to pet sit!
Nykhol has been a great help for us during our 2.5 weeks trip. This was our first time leaving our cat Chloe for a long time, and we were nervous to leave her alone for this long. Nykhol however made us feel at ease with her communication with us. She took pictures and give detail descriptions of her visits. Chloe even started to greet her and followed her (which says a lot for a shy cat). Thank you again for your help. Would love to have your assistance again in the future!
Nykohl watched our 5 cats for 2 weeks and did an amazing job. She is flexible, kind and genuinely loves animals. She was primarily tasked with caring for my senior 15.5 year old indoor only cat who needs subcutaneous fluids and after a couple meet and greets to teach her the technique, Nykohl learned and performed perfectly. She was able to win over this extremely shy kitty, having her purr in her arms. She also was tasked to monitor the food and water for our 4 outdoor cats and was able to help out with unexpected tasks such as when the raccoons tampered with the feeders. Very communicative, extremely friendly, and willing to help in any/every way possible, we will surely be using her again.
