Pet care experience

Pet sitter with global experience

Work From Home Sitter: I started caring for pets at 19 and have loved it ever since. I’ve lived with dogs and cats for years and have hands on experience from volunteering with 67 cats and 60 dogs at a rescue farm in Antalya, Turkey. I also pet sat while traveling the world, gaining experience with many breeds and personalities. I grew up in a farm with almost all the animals herding sheeps and cows . Friends trust me with their pets when they’re away, and I bring calm, patience, and genuine care to every animal I meet. I’ve used several platforms around the world for pet sitting, and you can find additional reviews about me on Workaway and Facebook. I also have a strong background in childcare I worked as a full-time au pair(childcare), caring for children safely and responsibly for four years across different families, parents trusted me with their children. I take care of pets like they're children they're both so speacial. I provide doggy daycare and have extensive experience working with puppies and dogs with separation anxiety. Since I work from home, I can help with training, and if a dog cannot be left alone, I make sure they are always supervised. A portion of my petsitting income supports the education of village girls in the mountainous regions of Eastern Turkey, including six girls I’ve been supporting over the years some now continuing their studies in high school.

Nuray is so caring and friendly. She took great care of Mel, sent us a bunch of photos and was super flexible and communicative throughout the whole stay. She's not only a great dog sitter who loves animals, but also a beautiful soul of a person ❤️

Nuray watched Daisy may for 2 days while we had a very busy schedule. I appreciated how communicative she was and that Daisy May came back home happy and tired. Would recommend to others!

We left our 8 yo Aussie with Nuray recently for a week while we went on an international trip, Nuray was really prompt in communication and took good care of our pup. She sent pictures and videos frequently without us having to ask, which we really appreciated. We had a meet and greet where she asked thoughtful and detailed questions about our dog's needs/care instructions, and was very diligent in clarifying everything before we did the actual drop off, which put us at ease. She was also flexible with drop off/pick up times. She clearly loves dogs, which we can tell by the way she handled ours. I would gladly rebook Nuray for future needs and highly recommend her to friends and family as well. Thanks again for taking care of Zephyr! :)

I had a great experience booking daycare with Nuray! She was very patient with my senior dog who has anxiety and other health issues. She also asked clarifying questions about his care instructions, which I really appreciated. Overall, Nuray was kind and easy to communicate with, and I definitely recommend her!

Nuray took amazing care of our dog, Maple, for 21 days, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but Nuray made us feel completely at ease from day one. She kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, and it was clear Maple was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When we picked Maple up, she looked healthy, relaxed. Nuray is responsible, attentive, and truly loves animals. We’re so grateful for the care and attention she gave Maple. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter! 🐶💛

Stella had the best time at Nuray’s! Nuray took such exceptional care of Stella while we were out of town and kept us updated with regular messages and sweet photos which gave us so much peace of mind. She even went the extra mile by taking Stella to the dog park so she could run around and burn off some energy. You can truly tell how much she loves and cares for the dogs she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet care. Thank you again, Nuray!

Schedule

Work From Home Sitter living near a dog park and walking trail: I work online from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I can easily stay overnight, or host the pets in my home visit during the day for walks and feed. My routine makes it easy for me to give pets consistent attention, walks, playtime, and comfort throughout the day. To provide the best care, I accept a maximum of two dogs at a time and always introduce them before accepting a second dog to make sure they get along. If they don’t, I only accept one dog at a time. It’s important to me that every dog has the best stay possible like a little vacation while their owner is away. During my lunch break, I take the dog to the dog park or to Stevens Creek Trail near me. After I finish work, usually around 3:30 pm, we go out again. I can also work from your home if your pet needs extra company. Lastly, I live with my husband works from home a couple days a week and grew up with cats, dogs, and hamsters, so pets usually feel comfortable around him.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a clean, quiet townhouse with a small patio, and I create a calm environment for any pet I host. Since I work from home, I’m always nearby to check on them, give attention, and take them out for quick potty breaks throughout the day. I live close to the dog park and Stevens Creek trail if your dog is high energy and need play time. To provide the best care, I accept a maximum of two dogs at a time and always introduce them before accepting a second dog to make sure they get along. If they don’t, I only accept one dog at a time. It’s important to me that every dog has the best stay possible like a little vacation while their owner is away. I always inform the pet parents if they are okay with the second dog and if they are okay to have intruduction. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully and keep routines consistent. I pay close attention to safety, doors and gates, feeding schedules, and your pet’s comfort. I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same care I would give my own.

A typical day

I love creating little adventures based on each pet’s personality. For active pups, we’ll go on walks, explore the neighborhood, and enjoy “sniff-ari” time so they can follow their nose and relax. For playful dogs, we’ll do gentle games like fetch, tug, or treat puzzles to keep their minds busy. I live close to the dog park and Stevens Creek trail if your dog is high energy and need play time. If they’re more into calm companionship, we’ll take it slow with cuddles, soft pets, and cozy relaxation time. I also like practicing simple cues they already know (sit, stay, paw) in a fun, positive way. And of course, I always send lots of photos and updates so you can see how happy and comfortable your pet is while you’re away.

To give your pet the best care, I like to understand their routine and personality. Things like their feeding schedule, walk times, energy level, and any quirks help me keep them comfortable. I also like to know if they have any allergies, medications, or behaviors I should watch for, such as shyness, reactivity, or fears. Knowing their house rules (couch/bed ok? crate routine? special instructions?) and the commands they respond to helps me keep everything consistent and stress free. And if your pet has favorite toys, treats, or calming techniques, feel free to share! What to Bring for Your Pet’s Stay I don’t currently keep extra pet supplies at my home, so please bring everything your dog needs to feel safe and comfortable. This may include: their food and treats, food/water bowls, leash and harness, poop bags, any medications, favorite toys, bed/blanket, and (if they use one) their crate. Please also share their routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions preferably by Google doc or by video so I can keep things consistent for them The more I learn about your pet, the easier it is for me to make them feel safe, happy, and at home.
