I have a pet cat and he is very friendly! Although I’m not offering home drop offs, I am very keen on making sure when I’m dropping in on a pet that their home is comfortable as the owner requests. I make sure their food bowls and water bowls are clean and they get enough playtime.

A typical day
I love giving dogs the time to sniff, explore, and take in the world on our walks—no rushing here! Indoors, I’ll play with their favorite toys, keep them company, and even narrate what I’m doing so they feel included. And of course, there will be plenty of pets and affection—for cats too, if they’re up for it!

Pet care experience
I grew up around several pets and animals - from watching after 7 dogs in Kenya to taking care of my first kitten at 10 years old (his name was Elmo), I love taking care of pets. Currently, a dog sitter for my aunt’s cutest dog, Hazel (or Hazelnut as I like to call her). Whenever my aunt is away, I’ll stay at her place to feed, walk and play with Hazel. Also, sometimes caring for Mercy the cat, who used to live right next door to me. I feed and groom him (and boy does he looove being groomed and all the attention). I am available in DC to walk your dog(s), do check-in’s or feed them. Your pet is family, and I will add the extra care and support whenever life can get overwhelming.

Nthanze is wonderful! We were out of the country for just over a week, and our kitties were so loved and happy. She left great notes and photos and was punctual. She took great care of our home and pets. We cannot recommend her enough!
Nthanze made my first experience with Rover amazing! She took such good care of my dog Chanel and cat Jax. She was very responsive to any messages I sent while away and also provided updates frequently which I enjoyed and appreciated. I could tell Jax and Chanel were in great hands and she carefully followed their rather unique feeding preferences. She kept the home clean and safe while I was gone too. I will definitely be booking her for any time away as often as possible!
