Big animal lover over here! I fostered dogs for a rescue for 2 years and with that learned so much. I cared for puppies (sometimes litters) all the way up to senior dogs. I enjoyed watching over 50 of my foster dogs get placed in permanent homes and will always enjoy meeting new furry friends. I’m comfortable and confident with behavior issues, health needs and funky quirks.

I am a big safety enthusiast. I follow rules when it comes to pet care to a T. If you want your dog kenneled for their safety when I am out, they will always be kenneled. If you let me know the animal is an escape artist I am going to be a freak about making sure they are never given an opportunity to get out. Because of my experience volunteering with a rescue I have seen the worst case scenarios play out in real life and I am prepared to make sure nothing like that happens under my watch.

Wonderful sitters!!!! Novalyn took great care of our babies while we were out! She has some of her own babies and you can tell the love she provides to them. My gurls are quiet and shy but they fit right in. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again.

Novalyn took great care of my pup! He had great adventures with her - hikes and play dates, lots of fun. She kept in good communication with me and sent adorable pics daily. I highly recommend!!

Schedule
I work full time as a dental hygienist in Anchorage. I have extra time in my schedule throughout the week and would love to fit your furry friend in! I have a dog of my own and we do just about everything together, your dog would get the same treatment. If your pup is okay with chilling at home while I’m working, we’ll spend our time outside of work together. *I am in San Antonio visiting my partner for a few weeks and wanting something to keep me busy. I’ll have lots of time to spend with your pet as I have nothing to do but hang out with them!

- I would love to know what you expect of me and the routine the animal is used to. Medications or health conditions are important to know before hand. Behavior trends or issues is all stuff I am comfortable with, but having a heads up lets me know how to behave towards the animal for our first meet.
