My parents had a dog before they had me! I've grown up around them, being gentle and receiving gentleness in return. It doesn't feel right whenever there's not a dog where I'm staying. Two years ago, my partner's family cat had kittens... and though I had never been a cat person, I can't resist them now either. Please consider booking me if you'd like to help support a local queer and neurodivergent person! I take pride in being patient and letting pets be pets. Stopping to sniff and having accidents are totally normal and things I don't mind handling. I would love to provide you with updates, as I know I would for my pup!

Nova is fantastic. Shes super nice and caring and helped us out walking our 2 pups and feeding our cat. She took instructions well and everything went smoothly. Her communication is also stellar! Thanks nova!
Nova bonded with my anxious pup VERY quickly. He normally takes a bit of time to warm up but she had him taking treats and giving kisses in no time. She is great at recognizing behavior and pulling back when necessary. Nova hung out with our boy for the afternoon while we were at a function and I felt really good about it. She was communicative and let me know how his day was going every step of the way. We look forward to seeing Nova again soon!
I have known Nova for nearly four years and have had the pleasure of watching her interact and care for my cats and dogs. Nova is a caring young woman that loves animals and they love her right back. One of our cats we adopted as a stray and was afraid of all outsiders for months when she first came to live with us. She still takes a while to warm up to folks, but I was amazed when our cat warmed up to Nova the day they met. Especially since it was very early on. I recommend Nova as a caregiver for pets and wouldn’t hesitate to leave my sweet babies with her and I’m very picky who takes care of them.
Nova was excellent with all three of my fluff balls. I've never seen them warm up so quickly to someone, not even the most shy of the bunch tried to shy away from her! She is very kind and attentive and communicates very well. I'll most definitely be asking for her help with my kitties again!
Nova was very responsive and the booking process was smooth. She constantly communicated how our cat Luna was doing and updated us on her feeding with photos. Luna also seems to get along with Nova better than others. We will definitely book Nova again.

I'm currently working part-time remote and hoping to use this for a little extra income as well as a fun experience around my neighbourhood. I appreciate the flexibility this and part-time remote work offers me to be able to spend time with my long distance partner.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and live near many trails. I often bike or walk to my clients. I ask questions and follow instructions given to me so that each pet gets the care they are used to receiving and deserve!
A typical day
If they trust me enough, I love to engage them with toys. I usually bike around, so if your dog can keep up with that, they'll have a blast running alongside me, probably along the waterfront trail.
