Hi there! My name is Nora, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. Growing up with dogs, I’ve been helping them throughout my life, so I’m well-versed in different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’ve personally had dogs ranging from a petite 15-pound Havanese to a massive 150-pound French Mastiff. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, administering basic care, or maintaining consistent routines, I understand the importance of ensuring pets feel safe and secure. In addition to my experience with dogs, I also have a fish tank and black shorthair cat of my own. This has made me particularly attuned to feline personalities and the subtle details that contribute to a cat’s comfort and happiness. I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone’s care, and I treat every animal in my care with the same attentiveness and affection I give my own. I’m happy to meet your pet where they are, whether they need lots of activity or just a calm, steady presence. I’m committed to helping keep your pet happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away!

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize maintaining their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I understand the importance of familiarity for pets, so I strictly follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any house rules, such as crate training or furniture boundaries. I always make sure to provide regular updates and photos to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you are away! For dogs, I ensure they receive appropriate exercise based on their age and energy level. This may include long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply relaxed companionship. I closely observe their body language and behavior to ensure their comfort and happiness. As a cat owner myself, I am particularly attentive to feline needs. I keep litter boxes clean, maintain feeding routines, and provide both stimulation and quiet spaces for cats. I recognize that cats often require patience and calm energy, and I allow them to set the pace for interaction. Some people say cats are easy to care for, but I understand that they require an immense amount of care, including daily play and just as much love and respect you would give to a dog!

Schedule
I’m currently studying for the GRE so I’m looking to fill my time with something fulfilling like pet care! I’m available most days 8am-6pm and I’m open to night visits or overnight stays.
