Pet care experience
Veterinary Professional & Pet Lover
Hi! I'm Nora, and caring for animals isn't just my job—it's something I genuinely love. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing the same patience, attention, and compassion I'd want for my own family. I'm a graduate of the University of Georgia and currently work full-time as a Hospital Team Manager in a veterinary hospital, with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine. My background allows me to recognize signs of illness, safely handle pets of all temperaments, and provide knowledgeable, attentive care while you're away. I've been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for years and also spent two years working for a professional in-home pet-sitting company in Athens. I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, cows, fish, turtles, and more. As an equestrian with over 15 years of horse care experience, I'm also comfortable caring for equine companions. I have extensive experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals with medical needs. If your pet requires medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, or other at-home treatments, I'm happy to discuss their care plan and make sure they're comfortable and well cared for while you're away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, happy, and in caring hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered!) family members!

Safety, trust & environment
With over 15 years of pet-sitting experience and more than six years of professional experience in veterinary medicine, your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities. I'm experienced in administering medications, caring for senior pets, and recognizing signs of illness or injury that may require veterinary attention. Every visit includes attentive, compassionate care tailored to your pet's needs, along with fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise and playtime, and plenty of love. I'm also happy to bring in mail, water plants, and perform other small household tasks to help keep your home looking lived in while you're away.
Ratings and reviews
Nora took such great care of our dog, Biscuit. We received frequent updates and photos. We could tell by the photos that he was relaxed and happy with Nora. Overnight pet sitting is the way to go for us, it has always eased our dogs anxiety when we travel. Nora is so sweet, took great care of our dog and home. We will use her again for sure!
You will be thrilled you chose Nora to pet sit or walk your dog. When leaving my animals in her hands, I always know directions are followed and my crew is well cared for. Nora is fantastic. I highly recommend her.
I have known Nora for 5 years. When my regular pet sitter was unavailable, a friend in the neighborhood suggested Nora. Nora was a good find. She came into our home and took excellent care of our 2 cats. Nora is very trustworthy, dependable and always sweet and kind.
Nora is my daughter and she is wonderful with animals. We call her "Dr. Doolittle" because she really does have a gift for working with animals. She has worked for a Pet Sitting Business for the last year while in college. She has taken care of all kinds of animals from cats to dogs to chickens to donkeys to horses. She is an equestrian and knows everything there is to know about taking care and training horses. I guarantee she will take very good care of your pets. She has many clients that just love her! She has her own dog who lives with her and she has taken very good care of her.
