I’ve been caring for friends’ and neighbors’ cats and dogs (and rabbits and ferrets) since I was a kid, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I have volunteered at an animal shelter as a dog caregiver, and have extensive professional experience with training and giving medicine/first aid to animals. I have plenty of patience and love to offer as well, and am always looking to learn more!

I always give pets a chance to get to know me when I first come into their home, and prioritize earning their trust so they are comfortable. I learned and practiced how to reduce stress in shelter animals and with my formerly feral kitty, which I also apply to any animals I’m meeting for the first time.

Nora was amazing! I’m a first time user of dog sitters, and with owning a reactive GSD, I was extremely anxious/ nervous about leaving him with someone that hasn't known him since puppyhood. Nora was super understanding of my anxiety and made sure to send me detailed updates with photos multiple times a day for every day she tended to him. On top of having a reactive dog, he’s also an extremely high maintenance working breed with lots of steps in his routine with multiple different tools for training / walking that she effortlessly learned to use and continue applying to his routine in my absence. If you have a reactive dog and are afraid to trust a sitter, look no further, this one is for you!! She has a natural intuition / connection with animals and it shows. My dog wouldn’t haven’t trusted her otherwise. Thank you Nora!! ❤️
This is like my 3rd time taking Nora’s help in walking my dogs. She’s head with them like always and she takes nice photos of them for me to see them when I’m away at work. Highly recommend her for taking care of dogs!

Nora was an actual life saver for us! We had to alter our plans for our dog and she swooped in and saved the day. Our dog is not an easy dog to work with as he has a very sad, difficult past. I was so impressed with Nora’s patience and knowledge of working with previously abused, anxious dogs. She handled it like a pro and gave detailed updates to help keep our minds at ease while away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and recommend her to friends and family.

Schedule
I work with monkeys Tuesday-Saturday, so have nights after 5pm and Sunday and Mondays fully available. I can do overnight stays Saturday night-Monday.
