I'm currently minimally employed, so my schedule is fairly free and clear! I have the occasional appointment or longer day needed up North, but I'm flexible and preparing for Rover to be my primary scheduling constraint.

Safety, trust & environment
Before committing myself to any dog, I prefer to do a meet and greet with them with the pet parent present to make sure we're going to get along. With cats I can be a little more flexible since they will typically just hide if they decide they don't like me. I'll always ask for emergency contact and vet info. Any favorite treats and things to do on walks or with yard time is also a bonus! I'd love to give your animals the best time I can with my limited time with them! My dad also worked in dog walking, and we joked that his dogs knew him as Uncle Treats, so I'm just hoping to follow in his footsteps.
Information Nora K. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of any special needs and medications ahead of time, as well as any behavioral quirks that I should be aware of (high prey drive, dog reactive, doesn't like strangers, etc.) I plan on bringing my own treats, so please let me know if there are any allergies or intolerances that I should avoid giving, as well as general preferences and favorites.
A typical day
For a drop in visit I'd plan on stopping by, letting the dog in the yard and playing for a bit, and giving them some love on the couch (or wherever they prefer) before I head out. I'm game for any personality, and if I'm coming over regularly, I plan to work out a routine for each visit with each individual animal to make sure they're getting the most out of our time together.

Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting for family friends since I was in middle school. When I graduated high school I became a dog bather and stayed with that position for two years, learning as much as I could about dog grooming. Afterwards I switched to pet retail and ranch work. Though rover doesnt offer the option, I also have experience caring for cows and horses. I'm honored to be a consideration in the important and stressful process of finding the perfect person to care for your pet. 🥰

Reviews
Nora is very dependable and trustworthy. Her love for animals shows through her interactions with them. She dedicates her spare time, work & schooling to animals so to say this is her passion is an understatement. There are very few people I trust with my dogs Phoebe & Gunther and she is absolutely one of them! Thanks for being such a great dog lover Nora!
