I have a part time online job that I do at nights and it’s not demanding or distracting so I can put it off for however many days I’d like and get back to it later. I own a snake so if anyone ever needs reptile boarding or care let me know I’d be happy to provide my services :). (my snake is always kept in her cage while caring for pets you do not have to worry there will be no contact between your animals and my snake:)

I can easily crate your dog if you’d like that at night when boarding, I just ask bring your own crate. I can also let your dog and my family’s dog (neutered male black lab) play if you’d like. Information Nora B. would like to know about your pet
Understanding their dietary restrictions helps me avoid any health issues, and knowing their exercise needs allows me to plan the right activities to keep them happy and engaged. Being aware of their temperament is essential for creating a comfortable environment, whether they prefer socialization or quiet time. Familiarity with their behaviors and training commands makes communication easier and helps build trust. Finally, having emergency contacts and vet information on hand ensures I’m prepared for any unexpected situations. Overall, knowing these specifics ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for both the dog/cat and me.
A typical day
In the morning, I wake up around 7:AM and greet the dog, starting the day for them with a quick bathroom break outside. After that, I prepare a healthy breakfast, ensuring it meets the dog’s dietary needs, which sets a positive tone for the day. Once breakfast is done, we head out for a brisk 30-minute walk. I choose a route with varied terrain to keep things interesting, allowing the dog to explore different scents and sights while incorporating some light jogging intervals for added exercise. After our walk, we enjoy a fun game of fetch or tug-of-war in the yard or living room to stimulate both body and mind. Following our morning activities, it’s time for some rest and relaxation. I provide a comfy spot with toys to chew on, allowing the dog to recharge. Later on, to keep the dog mentally engaged, I set up a puzzle toy filled with treats. Around midday, we go for a second 20-minute walk, possibly exploring a different neighborhood or park. This not only provides more exercise but also exposes the dog to new environments. After our walk, I offer a light meal or snacks and make sure there’s fresh water available. In the afternoon, (if you allow it :), I arrange a playdate with my family’s friendly dog, which enhances social skills and encourages playful exercise. As evening approaches, we take a longer walk, about 45 minutes, to help burn off any remaining energy. This can be a leisurely stroll or a more active outing, depending on the dog’s energy levels. After our walk, I serve dinner, focusing on a nutritious meal. In the night, we wind down with some quiet time. Before bed, we go outside for a final bathroom break, ensuring the dog is comfortable before settling in for the night. Throughout the day, I prioritize wellness by maintaining a balanced diet, incorporating plenty of physical exercise, and providing mental exercise. With ample downtime for relaxation, the day is filled with engaging activities that keep the dog happy and healthy.

Pet care experience
I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering at a boarding facility for dogs, which has been a fantastic experience. I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and finding out what they like. This helps me tailor my approach to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. I’m experienced in giving baths, trimming nails, and administering medications, & handling temperament appropriately. which has taught me a lot about keeping dogs healthy and content. Playing with dogs is one of my favorite parts of the job. It’s a great way for me to burn off some energy while giving the dogs the exercise they need. I always make sure they have plenty of water during and after playtime. I’m keen on following what each dog enjoys, so any insights you can share about your dog’s preferences would be really helpful. I look forward to making sure your dog feels well-cared for and has a great time! NOTE: The requests that I decline are SPAM requests, I am always available at the times I set on my calendar. Thank you pet parents :)

Reviews

Nora took excellent care of my two cats. She was there faithfully morning and evening, and sent me photos with updates every visit. I know my girls liked her because there were no accidents, no throw up, nothing destroyed—their usual protest moves when I go away. This was my first time hiring a pet sitter, and Nora was a gem.

I am so impressed with the loving and professional care that Nora provided to our babies Omar, Barbie & Blaze! Nora took care of them for 8 whole days (the longest I have been away) and I couldn’t be happier! Nora paid great attention to detail, showed loving kindness & always communicated with me! I felt at ease knowing Nora was taking great care of them! Thank you so much Nora!
She was awesome! Wonderful communication for every detail with my kitten. Great attention to detail. She spotted an infection and got immediate treatment for my kitten. She also sent lots of pictures for updates and kept my kitten socialized. She gave her lots of toys to play with and even sent home a couple with her. Also, my kitten who wasn’t litter trained yet came home fully litter trained. I would choose her every time to care for my cat.
