Getting to know your pet is an absolute must. I want to make sure they follow their normal schedule and get to know their habits. I will have a meet and greet with your dog before taking care of them and talk to you about their needs to ensure I can give them the best care. I’ll make sure to learn everything possible to make sure your furry friend feels from their diet to their normal habits. I am a very active person since I played soccer most of my life so I love to play with dogs that have extra energy. Going on long walks and playtime is a great way I like to spend quality time with the dog and get them to feel comfortable around me.

Of course, let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special preferences or needs. Getting to know them is crucial so that they feel comfortable. Important information I will need to know is their walking and feeding schedule. It is also nice to know their behavior habits such as if anything makes them go crazy on walks or outside such as other dogs, squirrels, sprinklers etc. Vet contact information such as an emergency phone number I can call is important to me to be extra safe. Dietary needs as well as if they have any medical conditions are a must to ensure they are getting their proper nutrition! Please also let me know anything about their behavior with others dogs as well as humans. Are they shy at first, anxious, or controlling over their belongings? Anything that you have recognized is great information for me to have to ensure your dog is comfortable and happy!

I’ve been around dogs ever since I was born and have grown to love their unique personalities. I have two Shelties at the moment and I specialize in taking care of herding dogs. I am a 19 year old student on break with nothing to do so I would love to dedicate all my attention to your dog! I have fostered as well as taken care of my friends’ dogs over the weekend before. My dad was an agility trainer and has helped me learn so much about dog behavior. I have trained my dogs growing up and now that they are older I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum from hyperactivity to mellowness. Of course I will always send update photos since I know you want to see how your pets are doing!

Noah stayed in our home for a week to care for our shih-tzu and did an absolutely amazing job. From the start, he was a clear and thoughtful communicator, which immediately put us at ease while we were away. When we returned, our home was spotless and our dog was clearly very well cared for, happy and relaxed with no adjustment issues at all. It was obvious he felt comfortable and loved during his time with Noah. Noah truly went above and beyond, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive in-home pet sitter.
