I’ve always been great with dogs and quickly pick up on their personalities and needs. I’m comfortable caring for younger dogs with lots of energy as well as older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. I also have experience working with animals in therapy settings, including birds and horses, which has made me more attentive and adaptable overall. I’ve cared for my neighbors’ pets while they’re away, and I’ve also worked in professional animal therapy settings where I was responsible for keeping track of routines, needs, and care on my own. I make sure every dog feels at ease and gets the attention they deserve.

I focus on making sure each dog gets the care and attention they need in the time I’m there. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and walks if needed. I also spend time giving them attention and companionship so they don’t feel lonely, whether that’s playing, relaxing, or just keeping them company. I pay attention to their behavior and make sure everything seems normal before I leave. I always respect the client’s home and provide updates so owners know their dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my routine as a student. I’m available most Saturdays, weekday afternoons (and sometimes mornings), and late evenings if needed. I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care responsibilities, making sure each dog gets consistent attention, exercise, and care.
