▍About Me ☺️🩵💛🤍 Hi, I’m Miumie — a gentle, detail-oriented pet caregiver with extensive hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve been involved in cat rescue and fostering for years, and I currently live with my young cat, Bobo. Traveling with him has given me a deep understanding of how animals adapt to unfamiliar environments. I’m highly attentive to each pet’s emotional state, behavioral patterns, and physical condition. My care style is calm, patient, and respectful of every pet’s personality and boundaries. I’m also continuously learning about feline communication, canine behavior, and animal social interaction. ▍🏡 Home & Environment I live in a quiet ~1,200 sq ft townhouse in West Berkeley, offering a calm, smoke-free, alcohol-free, and party-free environment. Each guest has their own clean sleeping area and feeding station, along with plenty of toys and enrichment for both cats and dogs. I usually accept only one pet family at a time (with rare overlap during transition days), allowing me to provide focused attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. Because I work from home, your pet is rarely left alone and will have companionship throughout the day. For dogs, our daily walks may include quiet neighborhood streets, nearby parks, the waterfront, Creekside Park, and the trails around Albany Hill. Every outing is adjusted to your dog’s age, energy level, and personality. Pickup and drop-off are available throughout West Berkeley, Berkeley, Albany, San Francisco, and nearby areas. If your pet can arrive freshly groomed, I’d truly appreciate it. 💛 ▍Daily Care 🐾 🐶 Dogs • At least 4 outdoor walks or potty outings every day • Plenty of playtime, enrichment, and companionship • Longer walks or small local adventures whenever appropriate 🐱 Cats • At least 2 hours of interactive playtime every day • Plenty of toys and enrichment • Affection and interaction based entirely on their comfort level Every pet has a different personality, so I always adjust my care style instead of following a one-size-fits-all routine. ⸻ ▍Frequent Updates & Daily Care Report 📝🔍 I love keeping pet parents connected throughout the day. You’ll receive photos, videos, and real-time updates whenever your pet is playing, relaxing, exploring, or doing something funny or adorable. Before bedtime, I’ll also send a detailed Daily Care Report including: • Meals & water intake • Walks, playtime & activities • Bathroom / litter box updates • Mood & behavior observations • Any notable moments from the day You’ll never have to wonder how your little one is doing while they’re with me. ▍My Experience 🧘🏻 • Experience caring for cats and dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities • Years of cat rescue and fostering experience • Assisted with kitten deliveries and around-the-clock newborn kitten care • Successfully rescued, fostered, and rehomed stray cats in Chongqing • Participated in a U.S. rescue case involving cats from an abusive breeding situation I don’t simply watch pets—I genuinely enjoy understanding their personalities and helping them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. ▍Medication & Special Needs 🩺🩹 If your pet requires medication, has dietary restrictions, or has special behavioral needs, please let me know before booking.
