I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and caring for them is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Every animal is different, so I adapt my care to what they need most, whether that’s extra playtime, calm companionship, structure and training, or simply giving them space to relax. I’m highly observant and will notice if something seems off, and I’m proactive about addressing it, whether that means adjusting their routine or communicating with you right away. You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same level of care, patience, and attention I would give my own.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m very mindful about maintaining a secure environment, from ensuring gates are properly closed and fences are intact to locking the home exactly as instructed. I’m also careful to keep anything potentially harmful out of reach, including unsafe foods or items, so your pet can relax in a safe space. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust my approach to what makes them feel most comfortable, whether that’s lots of affection and cuddles or giving them space and independence. I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. If they’re used to certain walks, activities, or even trips to the dog park, I’m more than happy to continue those so they feel secure, happy, and at ease.

Niva is wonderful! I hired her to care for my son’s two golden doodle puppies, filling in for me when I couldn’t be there. From the first communion Niva was responsive and friendly. She came over for a meet and the pups took to her immediately! She has a very calm and loving demeanor, was attentive to specific food instructions, as well as access to the house. She stayed with the pups from 11 am to 8:30 pm, and everything was perfect upon my son’s return. She sent pics, took them on a nice walk, and cared for them like they were her own, all while being very responsive to messages. Niva is truly exceptional — we cannot recommend her enough! She took care of our 2.5-year-old cat for an entire month, and from the very beginning, she was absolutely wonderful. Despite accepting our request on short notice, she showed up with full commitment, not only caring for our cat with incredible attention and love but also looking after our home as if it were her own. Niva is an excellent communicator — proactive, thoughtful, and consistently keeping us updated with daily photos and messages that gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she took the time to deeply understand our cat’s personality and needs, asking insightful questions and going above and beyond to ensure comfort and happiness. Our cat adored her instantly, and honestly, we’re convinced Niva is a bit of a cat whisperer! We even learned a lot from her during this experience. When we unexpectedly had to extend our trip by a week, Niva was incredibly understanding and accommodating. She even went out of her way to help us explore backup options, which meant so much to us during a stressful moment. On top of everything, she handled deliveries, collected mail, looked after our plants, and left our home in a pristine condition. Niva was truly a godsend. Both we and our cat absolutely love her, and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to work with her again. We hope to have her back soon!
Nova has been an incredible dog sitter for our pets over the past few years. She has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure our dog gets plenty of exercise, taking him on regular walks and keeping him active and happy. She also spends quality time with our cats, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while we’re away. What we appreciate most is how communicative and responsive Niva has always been. She keeps us updated, checks in regularly, and gives us complete peace of mind whenever we’re out of town. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We wholeheartedly recommend Niva to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring pet sitter. We feel very lucky to have found her.
Niva is amazing when it comes to caring for pets. She values building strong relationships with them and makes sure they are always happy and loved. My dog Bunny is a very nervous doggy, and Niva always makes sure she feels comfortable and cared for. Bunny is also very hard-headed and difficult to train; however, Niva is always able to break through and teach her commands and recall. I don’t think my relationship with Bunny would be the same without Niva’s care. You will be making a great choice by having Niva look after your pets.
I cannot recommend Niva highly enough. Over the years, Niva stayed a few times at our house during our travels and became a deeply trusted friend to our sweet dog, Goldie. In Goldie’s final years, as she became quite elderly and slow, Niva’s care was truly exceptional. She adapted beautifully to Goldie's changing needs, matching her slower pace with endless patience, gentleness, and tender companionship. Leaving a senior dog behind is so difficult, but knowing Niva was staying with her, treating our gentle girl with such dignity and love in her own home, gave us complete peace of mind. We are so grateful for her, and any pet would be incredibly lucky to be in her care.

I work from home, which allows me to be present and attentive to your pet throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular check-ins, walks, playtime, and companionship without long gaps in care. On weekends, I tend to stay local and enjoy a more relaxed routine, whether that’s spending time at home or getting outside for walks and hikes. I’m always happy to include your pet in those plans, depending on their energy level and preferences.

The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to your pet’s personality and needs, ensuring they feel happy, secure, and loved while you’re away.
