I run Southern Heart Animal Rescue a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to serving needy animals in our community full time. My schedule is completely flexible and can be arranged to suit you and your pet's needs.

My home environment is full of love and attention. I do have a fenced yard, the back is 1 acre and double fenced, but the animals are always supervised outside. I have a very active family and am always taking the pups on long walks and hikes. I love taking the dogs to all the parks, exploring, swimming, and making new adventures! We have three people in our house, my partner, my dad, and myself. Between the three of us there is always someone at the house. My dogs are silly, playful, and very used to new dogs coming and going due to my animal rescue. My cats are also incredibly social and used to new animals. Animal rescue does that to the resident animals. 😊

Let me know what kinds of dogs your dog does well with. Our household has small, medium, and large dogs with varieties of personalities. Does your dog have any dietary requirements? Are they prone to escaping? What are their favorite activities? Does your dog like walks? Are your cats snuggly and social or more independent? Is there any extra services you would like? I can provide bathes, ear cleaning, and nail trims.

I love to provide lots of enrichment to the animals in my care. I am always coming up with new special treats, finding the best toys, and teaching them new tricks. I love hiking so I am always up to take new pups on trails to see the beautiful waterfalls here.

I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was a child. I have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, and a farm animals. Have spent 17 years working in animal rescue and volunteering in a veterinary setting. In a professional capacity I ran a dog kennel, doggy day care, and grooming salon. I will love and care for your pets like my own!

Nina was fantastic! My dog can be a lot to handle but she was so kind and caring. Nina definitely went above and beyond and I can tell Birdie liked her. Birdie typically has some separation anxiety and having someone to check up on her, feed and walk her helped immensely. Highly recommend Nina to keep your fur babies happy and safe! :)

Nina is great with all FOUR of our dogs and gives them all the love. She's managed them with ease, gets them fed, some have meds and they can be a handful at times. She's amazing. I feel calm and know they're safe when she's with them ❤️
