My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to provide pets with lots of attention, exercise, potty breaks, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day. I’m primarily focused on walks, drop-ins, daycare, and daytime pet care, and I truly enjoy helping pets feel comfortable, engaged, and safe while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has different energy levels and needs, and I’m happy to accommodate routines involving walks, playtime, sniff mats, feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and basic commands when appropriate.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs since I was 3 years old and grew up with both dogs and cats in the home. I currently have a rescue dog that I’ve had for 10 years, and helping him work through separation anxiety, shyness, and reactivity has taught me so much about patience, consistency, body language, and building trust with animals. Through working with a professional dog behaviorist, I’ve also learned techniques for building confidence, reinforcing commands, improving leash behavior, and helping dogs feel more comfortable and engaged. While I’m not a trainer, I’m happy to consistently reinforce routines, commands, enrichment activities, and calm leash practices that owners already use with their pets. I’m very attentive to pets’ cues, comfort levels, and safety, and I understand that every animal has a different personality and needs a different approach. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets over the years because I genuinely care about making animals feel safe, comfortable, loved, and understood. I also enjoy keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged through walks, playtime, sniff mats, enrichment activities, and practicing basic commands when appropriate.

Reviews
I am happy to write this testimonial in support of Nina's application to join Rover as a dog sitter and walker. I have known Nina for several years, and her love for dogs is immediately obvious to anyone who meets her. She lights up around animals and has a natural, calming way with them that puts both pets and their owners at ease. I have personally trusted Nina to dog sit for me on multiple occasions, and every single time she has gone above and beyond. She kept me updated with photos and check-ins, followed my dog's routine to the letter, and treated my pet like her own. I never once worried while I was away, and that peace of mind is truly priceless. Nina is reliable, responsible, and genuinely passionate about the well-being of every dog in her care. I have no doubt she will be an outstanding addition to the Rover community, and I would recommend her without any hesitation. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with Nina!
Nina has been wonderful with our dog, Milo. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but she quickly put any worries to rest. She genuinely knows the animals in her care and you can tell she’s built real relationships with them over time. She knows the good parks, the good routes, and she approaches every walk and visit like it actually matters to her. Most people say they love animals. Nina actually shows it. So grateful we found her.
