Welcome! Our family—including my husband, our adult son, and myself—is excited to welcome your dog into our home. We offer a true 'home-from-home' experience with 24/7 supervision. Because of our family setup, your dog will never be left alone: my son provides plenty of company and play during the day, while my husband and I take over for evening cuddles and weekend adventures. Whether your dog needs constant attention or just a quiet place to snooze while we work, there is always someone here to make them feel part of the family. We're early risers, so your dog will have breakfast and regular toilet breaks throughout the day in our large, secure, fenced garden. I'm happy to arrange pick-up and drop-off to make things easier for you. At weekends we're all home, so your pet will enjoy longer days out, beach walks, and plenty of family time together.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe in dog-centred care that respects your pet's usual routine. I'll work hard to maintain their normal feeding times, sleeping arrangements (beds and sofas are absolutely fine if that's what they're used to), and daily schedule to avoid confusion or stress. Walks are twice daily but tailored to your dog's needs - shorter or gentler walks for elderly dogs or those with health concerns. My priority is making your dog feel comfortable and at home, not asking them to adapt to unfamiliar rules.

Information nina Q. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know about your dog's personality - their likes and dislikes, anything they're worried about or afraid of (like fireworks, children, or certain situations). Please share any health issues, medications, or dietary requirements. It's important I know how they are with other dogs, as I have two friendly dogs of my own. I'd also like to understand their behavior on walks - recall, lead manners, and any triggers. The more I know about what makes your dog comfortable and happy, the better I can care for them.

A typical day

Your dog will enjoy walks on Gorleston beach and local parks with plenty of time to sniff and explore at their own pace. We'll play ball games in our secure garden, and there'll be lots of cuddles and attention throughout the day. I believe dogs need both physical exercise and mental stimulation, so I follow their lead on what they enjoy most.

Pet care experience

I've cared for dogs in my home for extended periods, including looking after two lively cocker spaniels for three months. I have two dogs of my own who are friendly and sociable, so your dog will have company and playmates. Our family includes myself, my husband, and our adult son, so your dog will never be left alone. They'll enjoy two walks a day, plenty of attention, and a relaxed home environment. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'm comfortable with energetic pups as well as calmer companions. Your dog will be treated as part of the family.

Nina looked after our dog at her home while we were away on holiday, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she provided. She was kind, considerate, and incredibly gentle, and it was clear from the start that our dog was in very safe hands. We especially loved the regular photos and updates Nina sent while we were away- it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled our dog was. Nina took her out to some lovely places, kept her active and busy, and clearly gave her lots of attention and affection. We would absolutely recommend Nina to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter. We will definitely be re-booking the next time we go away!

Nina and her family welcomed Teilo into the home with warmth and reassurance. Nina is experienced with, and knowledgeable about dogs and has a calm, confident and affectionate manner with them. Teilo settled in very quickly and got lots of walks, play and attention. It was great for him to be with Nina's two dogs who were friendly and accepting of Teilo in their home, as he doesn't often get time with other dogs. I got regular communication and lots of photos. I will be using Nina again and recommend her to anyone looking for a five star sitter.
