Welcome! Our family—my husband, our adult son, and myself—is excited to welcome your dog into our home. We offer a true home-from-home experience with 24/7 supervision. Because of our family setup, your dog will never be left alone. I work three days a week on shifts, my son is home during the day, and my husband is back by 3:30pm. Between the three of us, there's always someone here to provide company, play, and care. Whether your dog needs constant attention or just a quiet place to snooze, they'll always have someone around to make them feel part of the family. We're early risers, so your dog will have breakfast and regular toilet breaks throughout the day in our large, secure, fenced garden. I'm happy to arrange pick-up and drop-off to make things easier for you. At weekends we're all home, so your pet will enjoy longer days out, beach walks, and plenty of family time together.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe in dog-centred care that respects your pet's usual routine. I'll work hard to maintain their normal feeding times, sleeping arrangements (beds and sofas are absolutely fine if that's what they're used to), and daily schedule to help them feel settled and secure. Walks are twice daily but tailored to your dog's needs—shorter or gentler walks for elderly dogs or those with health concerns. My priority is making your dog feel comfortable and at home, not asking them to adapt to unfamiliar rules.

Information nina Q. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know about your dog's personality—their likes and dislikes, anything they're worried about or afraid of (like fireworks, children, or certain situations). Please share any health issues, medications, or dietary requirements. It's important I know how they are with other dogs, as I have two friendly dogs of my own. I'd also like to understand their behavior on walks—recall, lead manners, and any triggers. The more I know about what makes your dog comfortable and happy, the better I can care for them.

A typical day

Your dog will enjoy walks on Gorleston beach and local parks with plenty of time to sniff and explore at their own pace. We'll play ball games in our secure garden, and there'll be lots of cuddles and attention throughout the day. I believe dogs need both physical exercise and mental stimulation, so I follow their lead on what they enjoy most—whether that's active play, gentle pottering, or simply relaxing together.

Pet care experience

I have experience caring for dogs in my home for extended periods, including looking after two lively cocker spaniels for three months. I have two friendly, sociable dogs of my own, so your dog will have company and playmates. Our household includes myself, my husband, and our adult son, meaning your dog will never be left alone. They'll enjoy two walks a day, plenty of attention, and a calm, welcoming home environment. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'm comfortable with energetic pups as well as calmer, older companions. Your dog will be treated as part of the family.

Fantastic 5 star all the way. Nina looked after our Mollie for a week while we went on holiday. Nina sent photos and updates daily and we knew Mollie was in safe hands with Nina and her family a peace of mind knowing was being well looked after, and we know Mollie enjoyed herself with the family and the dogs. Mollie was treated like one of the family. Would highly recommend Nina and we will be using her again. Thank you Nina Mollie will miss you all but will see you soon. X
