Currently I work part-time as the Academic Assistant at Bucknell University's Humanities Center, and am a single mom to my 5-year-old son who's in full-time kindergarten as well as my 8 year old cat Gia. My schedule is flexible and I'm able to accommodate most pet sitting requests. I do sometimes bring my son with me but that is always cleared with the client ahead of time!

I am able to provide 24/7 communication with you when you are away and can send you as many "pupdates" (photos of your pet(s)) as you would like!
Information Nina O. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog(s) or cat(s) (or any other animal you have brought into your family): • cannot be left alone for any period of time; • has frequent accidents around house; • needs more than three walks a day, or if you have more than one dog, each of whom needs to be walked separately; • shows aggression or hyperactivity toward other dogs and/or people, in the form of excessive barking, biting, jumping, etc.
A typical day
Because I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule, I have the time to put in that little bit of extra effort, care, and love for my client's pets. All of this extra time with your pet allows me to truly get to know and understand him/her so that I can provide personalized care, based on his/her individual needs. As a result, the transitions you and your pet will go through - when you go out of town and then again when you return - are seamless and easy for everyone. This comfort level, in turn, allows me to give your pet many more hours of exercise, stimulation, and cuddles.

Pet care experience
My lifelong love for animals as well as my extensive experience caring for dogs (and cats) would make me a great sitter for yours. I grew up around dogs and cats (and currently have a cat named Gia who is my little darling), each of whom truly became part of my family both during and after their lives. As a result of that developed familiarity with and fondness for these animals I truly find pleasure in caring for them. My compassion and patience allow me to provide dogs and cats the care - balanced in tenderness and discipline - they need. Additionally, I have pet-sat for many families and friends since I was about 12 years old, the last 6.5 years of which have been through Rover. I also have personally rescued / adopted three cats in my adults life and have continually volunteered at and supported the SPCA. I am a bit of a homebody which means if I am pet-sitting for you, I would be spending a lot of time at your house with your pet(s).

Reviews
Nina did a fantastic job- our pups were happy and relaxed when we got home and it was everything one could hope for. We will be asking Nina to dogsit again!
Nina was excellent! She was very flexible with scheduling and so generous. She also was able to deal with a very young dog who just got out of the animal hospital after being very sick! After the first day Nina watched Nym, she was so tired out she finally slept in her crate and now has slept there every night since! I can’t thank you enough Nina for helping me along on this unpredictable journey with Nymeria!
Nina is a terrific pet care taker! She’s watched my tabby cat before on numerous occasions and I’ve always felt like Cece was in the best of hands! Highly recommend.

I have nothing but great things to say about Nina! Our dogs fell in love with her. She asked us lots of questions, sent us lots of "pupdates," and most importantly, gave our dogs lots of care and attention. One of our dogs is particularly difficult (distrusting of strangers and other dogs), and Nina was really excellent with him - he is very attached to her now, and waited by the door for hours when she went home. We will certainly rebook the next time we leave town!
