I've been taking care of animals since we got our pups Buffy and Willow when I was 10 years old. They were a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, so cute! Since then I have owed 3 Guinea pigs (Cairo, Jupiter and Poppy) and a cat (Meshka).

When I leave for work I make sure not to leave anything hazardous out. I usually keep the bathroom and kitchen doors closed so Meshka doesn't get into those rooms while I'm away

Schedule
I'm thankful that I have a low-maintenance pet like Meshka because I work full time at my 9-5. I do have cameras in my house so I can keep an eye on Meshka thought-out the day. I remember when I got him as a 2 month old I would always go home during my lunch breaks to check up on him for the first 6 months that I had him.
