A fellow animal lover and owner
I have taken care of dogs and own animals since I was 15 years old. I have fluctuated from having dogs, cats, and even chinchillas! I have used rover in the past for my own animals and know what it is like to be a fur baby mama and how it can be hard and scary to find the right person for the job! I treat every animal like my own, I give them love, patience and attention! All of my animals have been rescues and have all had their own life struggles that has only made me a better mom to them.

Nina was a lifesaver and agreed to watch Butterscotch last minute after another sitter cancelled. She asked great questions during the meet and greet, and was very communicative. My cat is very shy, but she seemed to really like Nina! Nina sent me lots of photos and videos of her cuddling and playing. I asked Nina to do a key exchange with another sitter, and Nina handled that extra snafu with ease. Very grateful for her!
Nina was wonderful! Very good with our pets including a very young bottle fed kitten, a senior dog, and our sassy high energy bulldog. Highly recommend!!
We used Nina for the second time when we needed an overnight sitter for a few nights. She continues to be responsible, communicative, flexible, and a loving companion to our dog. She even allowed us to shift our dates last minute when we had to delay a visit to my parents' house due to illness, and didn't charge us for canceling our planned first night at the last minute. We love Nina and she will continue to be our first choice whenever we need a sitter! (And special thanks to Nina for introducing us to our now SECOND choice when she wasn't available for some dates we requested.)
Nina is absolutely phenomenal! She communicated with us clearly and frequently. She is extremely detail oriented and even sent us photos of our alarm system screen when it was acting up. Nina noticed our dog’s slightly red inner ear and asked what she could do about it. Additionally, she left the house perfectly clean and in great condition. Bowie looked so happy in the videos she sent us and was in great spirits when we returned. Your dog(s) will be in the best of care with Nina.
As much as I'd like Nina's availability to stay as open as possible (we plan to book her again and again!), I owe it to her to write a glowing review, because she's an absolutely perfect dog sitter and walker. Her familiarity and comfort with rescue dogs who need some special attention and consideration, especially larger breeds with a lot of strength to deal with on a leash, is what initially led me to see how she'd do with our beloved 60 pound bulldog, and the two seem to have really hit it off. We started off with Nina just walking our dog, and when that went well, had her stay at our house for two nights while we were out of town. I have no doubt that our dog is happy, cared for, and safe while in Nina's care, which is a big deal for our family, as we don't trust just anyone to care for our reactive and sometimes stubborn dog. Aside from being outstanding with our pet, Nina is kind, polite, and an impeccable communicator. She proactively checked in several days before her stay to make sure she understood all the care instructions perfectly, she kept in touch with updates and photos/video during her stay, and left our home absolutely spotless. I can't recommend her enough and am extremely grateful to have found her through Rover. Thank you, Nina!

Schedule
I work full-time, but it is very flexible and allows me to go and let my dogs out when needed or do drop ins. Weekends, evenings and some Fridays I am completely off work and able to engage in your animals.
