Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to build trust at your pet’s pace, paying close attention to their cues, routines, and comfort levels. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, I create a calm, predictable environment so your pet feels secure and understood. I treat every animal with the same care and respect I give my own. You can trust that your pet will be in safe hands, surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere where they can relax, play, and be themselves.

Information Nina H. would like to know about your pet

Before booking, I want to make sure your pet gets the safest, most comfortable care possible. Please share anything that will help me understand their personality and needs. This includes: • Any history of fearfulness, reactivity, or aggression • How they respond to new people, new environments, or other animals • Medical needs, medications, allergies, or mobility issues • Feeding routines, treat preferences, and any sensitive stomach concerns • Their favorite ways to be approached, comforted, or played with • Triggers that may overwhelm them (loud noises, certain handling, other pets, etc.)

A typical day

A typical care session with me is a mix of calm connection and playful, loving energy. I always start by meeting your pet right where they’re at and give them time to warm up in their own way. Once they feel safe, we shift into whatever brings them joy: playful zoomies, feather toys, cozy cuddles, or quiet companionship. I let their personality set the tone. I’m gentle and patient, but also silly and fun when your pet wants to play. I pay attention to the little details, how they like to be approached, what makes them light up, and what helps them feel secure. Whether it’s a cat who needs slow blinks and soft pets or a dog who loves a spirited walk and belly rubs, I show up with genuine care.

Pet care experience

I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for just about every kind of pet you can think of, dogs, cats, geckos, and everything in between. I’ve loved animals of all ages and personalities, and I’m comfortable with shy, playful, energetic, or senior pets. I have my bachelors in child development and am almost done with my master in social work! I’m a social worker by profession, so compassion, patience, and keeping others safe and cared for is part of who I am. I work from home most days, which means I have plenty of love to give to your pets. Honestly, I’m just looking to add more animal joy into my daily life! I’d love to care for your furry (or scaly!) family member and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.

I can’t recommend her enough! She has the gentlest heart and a natural way with animals that you just can’t teach. Dogs and cats instantly relax around her it’s like they know they’re safe and loved. She pays attention to every little detail, gives the best snuggles, and treats every pet as if they were her own. If you’re looking for someone caring, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals, she’s the one. Your fur babies will adore her!

I highly recommend Nina as a dog walker. She has been absolutely wonderful with my three dogs—a high-energy husky, an elderly chihuahua, and a lovable pit bull. She’s incredibly attentive to each of their unique needs and personalities, always making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy on their walks. She’s also consistently punctual and reliable. It’s clear she genuinely cares about animals, and my dogs adore her. I’m truly grateful for the excellent care she provides.
