Let's enjoy the snow together
My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks.

I would highly recommend Nina. Leia had a great time and was well looked after. Nina was very patient with her as she is still young with ongoing training. Nina provided daily updates with photos and videos which put my mind at ease knowing Leia had settled in.
Nina is an amazing, professional and trustworthy dog walker- she’s been helping me out with my dog Hugo for over a year, I couldn’t do it without her! Hugo always comes back extremely happy from walks with her. She truly cares for animals- you won’t find a better dog walker than her! She takes things very seriously, and always has amazing yummy treats! Overall 10/10 highly recommend her!
Nina has walked my gentle giant a few times and has always been wonderful and patient with my over enthusiastic puppy! I’ve always felt that he was in good hands when he was with her. She has a calm and yet confident demeanour when handling dogs, usually quite strong dogs to say the least. 100% recommend.
Nina looks after my puppy, Amber and always shows her love, care and attention. She demonstrates patience, fun and a gentle firmness when playing with her. She made time to get to know Amber and also the commands I was using. She has a calm, gentle way about her which Amber really responds positively to. She is trustworthy, approachable and willing to help out when needed. I would recommend Nina to look after animals as she always has their best interests at heart.
My two lively working cocker spaniels both adore Nina and she has looked after other dogs as well. Dogs adore her and I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending her. She is brilliant with dogs. Absolutely brilliant.
Nina has looked after my husky Polo many times. She's had him over nights and in her car. She's taken him on many adventures such as to the beach and woodlands. She's very reliable, responsible and takes good care of dogs. I trust her completely and know Polo's in good safe capable hands when Nina has him.

Dates de la garde
My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can.

Sécurité, confiance et environnement
I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

I like going to the beach or the forest, usually in the car to then explore the area and play a game of fetch if your dog is interested in it.
