Pet care experience

Experienced, mature & caring sitter

Hello! I'm Nina, I grew up my whole life with labradors, a toy dachshund, blue heelers, chickens, one goat, and love animals with my whole heart. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes/temperaments/energy levels, and I pride myself on being highly observant, patient, and safety focused. I am fully capable to keep your pup safe and give them the attention they require. For 2 years I worked for a well established family owned business as a professional dog sitter and pack hiker, leading groups of 4–7 dogs on trails (leashed) around Los Angeles and the hills. I also have 3 years of experience as a walker and sitter on Wag! along with volunteer work at my hometown animal shelter. This experience gives me the confidence to bond with and get to know the dogs I board right away, knowing my calm assuredness helps them feel more at ease. I am flexible with changes to bookings/last minute requests. I have a fenced in back yard as well as a secure gate out front, that we have to exit before getting to the sidewalk. I love to go on a good walk, weather it's a long workout or a slow and careful sniff around, and stay attentive to what they need/want while avoiding others. Always diligent as to how your pup is feeling and what they are up to at all times. Requests you have as the parent will be fully honored. I respect the care and knowledge you have for your companion, and want them to feel just as at home and safe. Please feel free to give any and all information you would like to help me get to know them and help maintain training/comfort/etc. ! * Dog and cat CPR/first aid trained and certified by BREATHCAMP* Can't wait to meet my next favorite dog, Nina

Nina was amazing with Boba! Very communicative and shared updates with us. Easy drop off and pick up. Boba was so happy and had lots of walks and playtime! Right before his stay, Boba needed a series of allergy medications and ear washing - most of it landed during the time Nina had Boba and she very kindly and diligently administered everything for us. ⛑️ Highly recommend and would definitely request Nina to watch Boba again. It is clear that she deeply cares for animals! 🐶🐾🌟

Nina was an amazing sitter, she was in constant communication providing updates and photos on our fur babies. When Burgess didn’t finish his breakfast, she reached out to ask whether she should leave the food out or try again later. Will definitely book with her again.

Nina was wonderful with our big, crazy boys. We have two larger dogs, one who is a sweet senior and needs medication 2x a day and one who is an 85 lb unruly but lovable monster. They each have some quirks, but Nina was very up for taking care of them, even accommodating our last minute request. She is communicative, responsible, and we can tell our boys had a lovely time and were well taken care of. We are VERY glad to have found Nina and will be booking with her again for sure!

Nina was wonderful with our new dog Robin! We needed a sitter relatively short notice and Nina was great to work with. Robin is a young rescue and needs support to develop his confidence. Nina was very kind with him and communicated with me all day. Highly recommend!

Your pup will always be my #1 priority, being home most of the time and walking/playing with your loved ones when ever and for how ever long they would like :) My morning walks are always first thing, so they will never have to wait! Safety, trust & environment

I like to always have pets in my proximity to keep an eye on them, and give them all the attention needed! I never have more than 1 dog unless all from the same family or otherwise specified. I love getting to know each dog's individual personality and bonding with them.

A typical day

I love exploring with dogs on a walk as much as they love to sniff around. To me the walks are the first step in getting to know each other and building trust. Will get in as much as 2 hours of walking a day if that's what they want, or just a few slow strolls. As well as playing the games they love and cozying up.

Of course let me know what your dog has reactivity to (if any), things they don't/do like, and any other quirks or needs I can help them with or keep an eye on. As well as what kinds of routines they may be missing while away from you! <3
