Hi, I’m Nina! I am a true animal lover and grew up in a house full of dogs, cats, and a menagerie of pets over the course of my childhood (rats, hamsters, birds, fish, frogs, lizards, turtles, snakes). I have been pet sitting for over a decade, including over 35 stays total with at least 25 different satisfied families and repeat customers. Up until 2023 when I joined Rover, I have just been working off of personal referrals. I have helped with both short and long term stays with 1 or 2 dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats, chickens, birds, reptiles, fish, etc. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs—and everything in between! Past clients would describe me as reliable, respectful, and a great communicator. References happily provided upon request! Rates are negotiable depending on your pet’s needs and schedule—please don’t hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you! A bit more about my experience: I cared for 4 families’ dogs while nannying by walking, feeding, petting, and playing with them each day in addition to caring for their child(ren). I also have stopped in and checked on/fed dogs, cats, and reptiles many times. While I have not owned a dog full time by myself, I have had pet rats and used to borrow my mom’s dog frequently for adventures, as well as helping roommates with pets that I have lived with. I attended horse back riding camps and shows in my youth and have cared for horses off and on my whole life, as my sister is a horse owner. I am the first to point out (and probably talk to) any wildlife on a hike! :)

I am happy to check in on your pets diligently. I provide lots of photos and info about each visit. For your pets’ peace of mind, I would likely rather stay at your home with them to keep them most comfortable and in a familiar environment while you are away. I am a very respectful houseguest. I clean up after myself as much as possible—I don’t want to require any extra work from you after returning home!

Nina was great at communicating about my pets while I was away
Nina is absolutely fantastic! She is so great with both of my dogs. She is caring and very experienced, and amazing with communication. Nina is always on time and does great with walking, feeding, and playing with them! They get so happy to see her! She is always sending pictures and keeping me updated. She is very courteous, easy to work with, efficient, and most importantly very caring with my dogs. I have to go into the office for work and Nina has been great with helping in the mornings and afternoons! I highly recommend Nina
Nina is amazing! She gave so much love and attention to our dog while we were on vacation. She also went above and beyond in bringing him with her on errands and outings to spend even more time with him, and to get him out on adventures that he loves so much (and one day he even came home with a new toy!). Nina checked in with us anytime she had a question and was sure to send us a photo and update on Choco daily. She stayed at our home while we were away and left everything so clean. It meant so much to leave our dog with someone so caring and trustworthy!

Nina was an AMAZING house/dog sitter. She was very communicative and sent photos. She came for a meet and greet and took notes so we left town worry-free. She managed regular house things (cleaners, gardeners, put up with broken dishwasher and other minor challenges) all while working from our home so that our anxious fur-baby and backyard chickens would have a companion while we were gone. We left home in a rush without leaving detailed enough instructions about a few things and Nina reached out to clarify and/or figured out a solution and informed us about her decision. I can’t say enough about how comfortable I felt leaving our house and animals in Nina’s excellent care! Recommend 10/10!
Nina was the Best Sitter for our Boy Teddy that we could ever Hope for!!!!!!!!!!! After our first get together to see if Nina was a good fit for Teddy. a very Gentle 9 year old Bull Terrier / Pitbull , we knew that Nina was the one we wanted to leave our Boy Teddy and our Home with. She was very through asking questions about Teddy's special needs, medications and Likes, documenting them as we talked. From the time she started her shift, she communicated with us with texts and Pictures of Teddy thru out the time she was at our home right up until her shift was over. It was a great relief knowing that Teddy was being loved and being taken care of the way we wanted him to be taken care of. The house was exactly the way we left it when we went on our trip. We would Highly recommend Nina to anyone who wants to have the best possible care for their special pet. She deserves 10 stars !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again Nina, we definitely will be asking you to take care of Teddy the next time we our out of town. Mark And Rosie A.
