I bring over 15 years of professional experience in veterinary medicine and pet care. My background includes work in pet boarding facilities as well as multiple veterinary hospitals, including general practice, emergency, and specialty care. I am Fear Free Certified at the Elite level and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the CCPDT. This allows me to care for dogs with a wide range of needs, from high-energy dogs who thrive with structure and enrichment, to sensitive or medically complex dogs who require thoughtful handling and close observation. My approach is grounded in welfare, low-stress care, and clear communication, so dogs feel safe, understood, and supported while they’re with me.

I highly recommend Nina! She’s very responsive, gives great walk reports, and always takes photos. I know my corgi pup is in good hands when I have to leave her home. With Nina’s previous experience working at a vet, I also have peace of mind knowing she can handle an emergency if it were to happen. I also appreciate that she was willing to meet us and our dog before she became our walker.
Nina did a wonderful job caring for our sweet but very energetic pups (two 1yr old Aussie/border collie mixes 😵💫 and an older hound dog). She is obviously very skilled at working with dogs because they much were better behaved for her than they are for us! I was a little anxious about leaving them, but Nina definitely had things under control!

Zeitplan
I am a full-time dog trainer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be home throughout the day. Dogs in my care are not left alone for long stretches and can receive consistent attention, timely potty breaks, enrichment, and supervision. I’m able to accommodate boarding, daycare, walking, and drop-in visits throughout the week, with flexibility to meet your dog’s individual routine.

Safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I take a calm, thoughtful approach to care and tailor activities to each dog’s physical and emotional needs. Depending on your preferences and your dog’s comfort level, care may include neighborhood walks, decompression hikes, enrichment games, or light training and strength exercises. I focus on engagement without overstimulation and always prioritize consent-based, low-stress handling. I use high-quality treats to reinforce calm, confident behavior and can accommodate dietary needs.

Ein typischer Tag
I love to provide dogs in my care with plenty of enrichment, games, and unique walking experiences. While a neighborhood walk is always an option, a hike or meandering walk in the park is usually more fun for the dog!
