Availability
Over the summer, I have a lot of availability. All of my responsibilities are remote—I am studying to take the Certified Medical Assistant national exam, participating in research, and spending a great deal of time reading and writing (my biggest hobbies!). I can check up on your pet almost any time assuming something small like a dental appointment or meeting hasn’t popped up!

Safety, trust & environment
I understand there is a process in earning a pets trust, and over time I have learned how to recognize their comfort level. I’ve grown up with both anxious and recluse animals and rambunctious and friendly ones. I love petting, grooming, and playing with animals, but I am also willing to simply be present with them if they are nervous.

Pet care experience
Since I was 9, I have owned 3 cats, 2 dogs, and fostered a dog. I have been involved in the process of feeding, bathing, and most importantly, loving each and every one of them. I have also spent time volunteering at a PetSmart near my university in the cat room, so I’ve learned how to handle crazy kittens!
Cat care experience

Nina also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Nina is a wonderful pet caregiver! She previously volunteered at PetSmart and was responsible for cleaning the litter boxes, wiping down the cat room walls, replacing dirty beds, and of course, playing with the cats. She has also grown up with both dogs and cats, so she has a long history of attentive care. She is incredibly responsible and treats every animal as if they were her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy person to watch their pets!
