Experienced animal whisperer
I've been a Boulder Humane Society volunteer in Boulder, Colorado and foster mom since I was 14 (for dogs from 3 days to 16 years old) and a dog lover/whisperer all my life. I'm a trained pet psychic with a particular talent with stressed and nervous dogs. I've yet to find a dog of any kind I don't love, and most dogs love me too. I have found that dogs appreciate my calm energy and even the most skittish of dogs tend to warm up to me quickly. I love to read and cuddle but also I'm pretty good at chase and long hikes. I also have experience caring for cats of all ages and levels of health, due to fostering and volunteering at the Humane Society and cat sitting as one of my first jobs in middle school.

I do my best to not push your pet's boundaries while still providing them with the care they need (e.g. I will fill your kitty's food bowl, but I won't make him come out from under the bed if he doesn't wanna)

Do NOT hire Nina! She sets her own rules, and doesn't follow the schedule you set! Her bookings with my dog included a 30 minute walk. The first time, she walked my dog for only 20 minutes. The second time, she included swimming in her walk, so the entire time was 1 hour and 15 minutes! I was scared something happened to my dog. Did they get in an accident? Did she kidnap him? No texts, no calls, no communication. Additionally, the first visit, she had me adjust the schedule (90 min later) to accommodate her and someone else's dog. The second time, not only was she 33 minutes early, she included another dog!! This was not ever mentioned, nor was the swimming. My dog had JUST been bathed and I didn't want him in the water-- just walks. Nina doesn't seem to care about this job of hers, especially as it relates to new clients. She needs a work from home job where she doesn't have to follow her clients rules or schedules.
I always have peace of mind when Nina comes to stay! My dog had some extra instructions this time because of some health problems and Nina did amazing following everything and sending regular updates!

Nina took great care of Luna over my 2 day trip out-of-town. Luna really appreciated that Nina made our house her home base so she spent very little time alone. I would hire her again for sure!
Nina was wonderful and took great care of our high energy dog! She was very communicative and sent lots of cute pictures. Highly recommend her!

I am a homebody, so I am generally at home unless I have errands or drop ins, especially if fuzzy pet cuddles are on offer.
