I work 90% from home. I just go in and out for meetings and certain scheduling, but I’m rarely out of the house for longer than a few hours. Basically, aside from my job, which I mostly do remote dogs are my first priority and get the current attention. They need hourly if not minute by minute.

I treat others dogs like I treat my own with love, warmth, and caring. I exercise the dogs daily and give them what they need to make sure that they’re tired out and before I ever leave the house for an hour or two if I need to, I make sure that they are let outside and that they’ve done their business so they don’t have to wait for me to get back.

I would like to know your dog triggers, and where he/she/it doesn’t like to be pet…. Also if they have resource guarding or any type of food guarding or anything that you see has happened in the past.
A typical day
I have a big home so I like to do a lot of training exercises with them to stimulate their brains so I’ll have them perform some tricks and I’ll work over and over with them and have them all sit in a row and put their attention on me and just work on mind activity. I also have several toys that I put treats in that keep their brain stimulated so that they can play and always be occupying their minds versus just laying around all day. I also throw a ball in the house if it’s not appropriate weather. I’m a soccer player so sometimes I like to practice soccer in the house and the dogs chased me and try to get the ball. Those types of activities are just some extras that I like to do to keep their minds busy and stimulated

Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover living in Stittsville, Ottawa, and dogs have truly been my passion for as long as I can remember. I share my home with my own three well-socialized, crate-trained dogs and work mostly from home, so your pup will have plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day. I have a large, fully fenced, pie-shaped yard that’s safe, clean, and perfect for playtime. Dogs in my care are treated like family — they’re welcome to sleep freely in my bedroom with my dogs, have cozy pet beds, and follow a calm, loving routine. If your dog prefers or needs a crate, you’re welcome to bring one, and I’m happy to help with crate time when I step out. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, especially if you feel anxious about their care. My goal is to give you total peace of mind knowing your dog is safe, happy, and genuinely having a great time. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am, and one day it’s my retirement dream. For now, I’m thrilled to offer a loving home-away-from-home for your pup. I cannot recommend Nilgun highly enough! She is responsible, energetic, and incredibly caring. Whether it's a long walk or an overnight stay, she goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy and safe. She is both responsible and truly passionate about animal welfare. Finding someone you trust with your 'fur baby' is hard, but Nilgun made it easy. She is patient, attentive, and genuinely loves the animals she cares for. It’s such a relief knowing my pet is in such kind hands while I’m away.
Anyone who knows Nilgun knows she has a deep love for dogs, and animals of all kinds. She is truly the best dog mom I know, always making her fur babies her top priority. From regular grooming (complete with ties and bows) to long forest walks, playtime with other dogs, and even soccer, they are always by her side wherever she goes. Nilgun isn’t just wonderful with her own three dogs; she shows the same care and affection to every dog she meets. Dogs naturally gravitate toward her, drawn to her kindness and calm presence. She is always ready to support other dog owners, whether they’re navigating life with a new puppy or caring for a senior dog.
