I have two dogs that I let out in our back yard as soon as I wake up. They get fresh water and food, and when the weather is nice, a walk. We have a large fenced yard that they have access to all day. I uncover and let my parrot out of her cage, at which point she promptly hops onto my shoulder. I take my kids to school, with our two pups along for the ride, come home, make coffee and watch our big, fluffy cat flop herself off the sofa to go see if I’m refilling her food bowl, and then go about my day.

Our home has a large fenced yard, in a private neighborhood community. Our pets hang out inside most of the day, enjoying the various soft surfaces to nap on, and have breaks for zoomies outside. I’m happy to accommodate whatever routines you have established with your pet, in your home, and accept any requests or special needs for your pet while in my home for boarding, or daycare. During my reoccurring visits, if approved by a pet parent, I like to leave a small notebook to write little details in about the visit. I also love sharing pics of your pet with you if you’d like those too.

For me to provide the most comprehensive care it’s important that I know your pets particular needs. Medications and dosage should obviously be discussed, with written instructions. Please let me know about any special dietary needs, or if refrigeration is necessary for your pets food. Id love to hear about their favorite activities, treats, or where they love to be petted. Ear rubs, tummy scratches etc. Any personality quirks or fears would be good to know also, ie: is your pet frightened of storms/lightning, other animals, fireworks, or if they’ve had any kind of traumatizing experience that might affect their stay with me. Whatever makes your pet the unique and special animal that you love, I want to know about so I can take care of them like you would.
A typical day
My neighborhood is hilly with sidewalks and small green belts, wooded areas to explore. Twin Hills has a nice walking path around the lake and is close to my house. With the owners permission, outings would a fun chance for new sights and sniffs. Also, plenty of fetch and playing in the yard, or just playing couch potato work too. :)

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I’ve got experience with dogs, cats, puppies & kittens, reptiles, birds, and just about any other pet you can think of. I’m a stay at home mom of three. All my kids are in school now, and I have the time to do walks, quick drop-ins for potty and playtime, doggy daycare (must play well with others) and offer overnight boarding with a couple of reasonable requirements. Can’t wait to meet your fluffy, feathery, fuzzy, or scaly pets!

Nikola took on taking care of my new puppy when I was called in on such short notice! My Ares looked absolutely loved and taken care of and allows him to stay on his schedule without having accidents.
Nikola is and has been a loving pet owner as long as I have known her, which has been over 15 years, She has always had multiple pets in her home including cats, dogs fish, and even mall reptiles as well. She is very experienced at taking care of her pets and I know with zero doubt she will be a loving pet caregiver.
