Hi, I’m Nikki - I am a dog loving, pet adopting, animal enthusiast! I have fostered many pups and cats, and that has been some of the most rewarding work I’ve done. I work in wildlife and absolutely adore hanging out with animals. So much so that I dedicated my degree to studying wild animals! Outside of schooling, I have had 2+ years of pet sitting, and I am very comfortable around animals of all personality types. I currently have a rabbit as a pet who requires special attention - as a “delicate” pet owner I know how to administer medication/force feed (when absolutely needed) /water when necessary. Because of my own sensitive pet, I can recognize the signs when animals need extra attention or if they’re not doing so well! I currently have the pleasure of taking care of two senior dogs of my parents so I feel very comfortable with senior pups as well!

As mentioned previously, I have an animal that is sensitive and requires special needs. I’m comfortable with not only the day to day pet essentials, but also for pets that need a bit more attention in their care. I can identify their moods/aggravations and adjust accordingly. I’ve helped with animals that need syringe feeding, diapers, as well as crated animals. Additionally, walking is my all time favorite hobby so I adore taking dogs out to join me!

Nikki is amazing - she had an injury and still was willing to housesit and dog sit for our two sensitive dogs. Her communication is excellent, our house is in impeccable, and most importantly, our dogs are happy and healthy. Thank you, Nikki, for being such an amazing dogsitter!
Nikki was incredible with our two dogs, one of whom is very slow to trust- Nikki went out of her way to make sure that dog felt safe with her before we even left. Our house was also so well taken care of, and she sent lots of updates! Thank you so much, Nikki, for taking such good care of our fur babies. Will absolutely be rebooking in the near future!!

Schedule
I am a graduate student at UC Davis studying ecology (specifically large herbivores). I am not currently in school (summer break) so my availability is completely open for the summer. I’m looking to make some furry friends in the mean time! Because of this open availability I am able to provide the most attention to your furry friends!
