Hello, I’m Nikki (Ashley), I work with a rescue training dogs. My life's passion is to help dog owners on communicating effectively with their dogs, with the goal of reducing shelter populations and creating a more harmonious environment for people and dogs to thrive together. Additionally, I aspire to contribute to the education of shelters and rescues volunteers, enabling them to implement more effective dog training and handling strategies and increase the chances of successful adoptions.

Nikki did such a great job with our dogs! She was available last minute and was flexible when our travel plans didn’t quite go as expected! They loved playing with her dog and others staying there. We would definitely leave our dogs with Nikki again!

We are moving and needed a last minute sitter for our English Bulldog puppy. Ashley was able to help us last minute, kept us updated with pictures and how Chunk was doing. Chunk came back to us happy and healthy, we definitely recommend Ashley!

Schedule

Dogs are with me a majority of the time, I have two kennels in my SUV- I also have kennels in my home if they prefer to stay home. Kennels are not mandatory- but are here for their safety if needed. A lot of dogs feel safe in them as it’s like a bedroom for them.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is definitely a priority for us. Proper leashes and collars will be used when on walks, as well as any other training aids. I wash food bowls after each use and wash water bowls at least 2-3 times a week depending on how many dogs use it. When I am taking care of multiple dogs I make sure to watch dogs body language for any signs of distress or aggression that could lead to any type of injuries being incurred.

Pets

A typical day

Your dog(s) will enjoy brain games, walks (weather permitting), car rides to the park(with your permission), where they can walk and play at the dog park (if they like that kind of thing). I have my son who is 17 who will help entertain your dog with some fetch and tug of war. I have a dog who is pictured (pavlov), he comes with me most the time and is great with other dogs. If they are more laid back and just want to hang out and lounge, we can put on the dog tv shows or movies and relax. I can do some training with your dog. If they deal with food aggression, I’ve got you covered. I can teach them to sit, down, loose leash walk, place, recall, and other basics for an additional price- teaching anything extra can take a bit longer (*all of these things must be maintained by the owner-which is why when I train dogs I typically have the owner also do training with me to learn how to train their own dog- as most trainer can teach any dog anything, however if the dogs owner doesn’t keep up with the training the dog will not keep up with the training he/she learned from the trainer) If it is thundering/lightning out, I can take your pet to petsmart, petco, Lowe’s or home depot for walks. :)

I would like to know their name, age, their vets information, when they eat, if they have certain times they eat, if they like being walked at certain times, if the dog has certain sleeping preferences, and if they are up to date on shots..
