I love meeting both pets and their people! A complimentary Meet & Greet is the perfect way for your furry friend to get comfortable and for us to chat about their routine, favorite toys, and any special needs. If a Meet & Greet isn’t possible, I’ll gather all the details by text or call, so your pet still receives personalized care. My goal is always the same: to ensure your pet feels and is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
Every visit is tailored to your pet’s needs, whether it’s a quick check-in, some playtime, or a long neighborhood walk. My goal is to make every moment feel safe, fun, and full of love. During Visits at Home: * Home Comforts: I make sure your pet feels loved and attended to, with favorite toys and treats (pre-approved by you). * Routine & Care: I follow feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions you provide. Neighborhood Walk/Run: * Safe & Fun: Leash, harness, and careful attention ensure a secure walk. * Tailored Pace: Whether energetic or leisurely, your dog sets the pace…I can even run with your dog if that’s part of their usual routine. * Updates: I’ll share photos and notes so you can see the joy in their day. With flexible scheduling and attentive care, I aim to make every visit enjoyable, enriching, and stress-free…a happy experience for your pet and peace of mind for you.

After a pause from Rover to adopt and train our rescue puppy (a brave survivor of the LA Fires), I’m back and excited to open my calendar again! I know how much peace of mind matters when you’re away, and my goal is to give you exactly that…knowing your pets are loved, safe, and well cared for while you are away. Growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and so much more, I learned early that animals aren’t just pets…they are family. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies to gentle seniors and pets with special needs, including those requiring medication or anxiety support. As someone who’s spent years balancing family life and caring for animals, I bring patience, reliability, and love to every pet I meet. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys and your pets…and I take that responsibility to heart. Nikki was absolutely amazing with our dog Otto! From the meet and greet she came over and met him and learned his schedule to a tee! She took him on so many long walks and adventures, and went above and beyond to make sure he had a great time and get a ton of love while we were away! She even sewed one of his toys he had ripped up. You can tell she truly loves animals, and did the best job with our boy, who loves getting a lot of exercise! We felt like he was in the best hands and she kept us updated the entire time with so many pictures and videos, which was so very nice. Nikki is the absolute best!
Nikki has helped us multiple times now, and every single experience has been exceptional. She takes such loving, attentive care of our cat that he is genuinely happy and relaxed when we return. This time we were away for a full month, and it was obvious that he was truly adored and spoiled with fun and special treats 🐱💛 It gives us complete peace of mind knowing Nikki is with him. She is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly does this from the heart. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for truly excellent pet care. ✨

Nikki was absolutely amazing! From the meet and greet we could tell how detail oriented and caring she was for our little guy. She asked all of the necessary clarifying questions to ensure our cat got the best care possible. Afterwards, she typed up and sent over the entire list of details/care instructions. After each visit Nikki sent over multiple photos and videos, along with detailed write up. Bubba (our cat) really took to Nikki and opened up more and more each visit. We felt so relieved not to have to worry about a single thing related to bubs while we were away. Nikki also graciously brought in our mail, packages, and even helped out with our garbage cans while we were away. We are so thankful and will definitely look to coordinate with Nikki next time we are heading on a trip and need someone to look after our little guy 😻
