Hi, I'm Nikki – lifelong dog mom and animal lover! I’ve been a pet owner my entire life, and today I’m the proud pet parent to three amazing dogs and one very vocal cat. Animals aren’t just pets in our home—they’re family. 🐾 Meet My Pack: Sophie is our sweet senior girl, a 12-year-old Lab/Shepherd/Chow mix I rescued as a puppy. She loves dinner at 4 PM sharp and is the queen of cozy naps. Simon is our 5-year-old Pitbull/Boxer mix and the world’s biggest snuggler. He’s 68 pounds of lapdog energy and affection. Phoebe, almost 3, is a Pit/Staffie/mutt mix and our first-ever foster fail. She had a rough start but has blossomed into an incredibly well-behaved, loving companion. Khloe the cat rounds out our crew—she’s 14 going on 4, always meowing for attention (and snacks). We love hiking, lake swims, and long neighborhood walks. Our home has a fenced-in yard for safe playtime and we go on daily walks—morning and afternoon. 🐶 What You Can Expect: I treat every dog I watch as if they’re my own. Whether your pup is here for a quick visit or an extended stay, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Our dogs are friendly with people and other animals. Phoebe can be a little selective when new dogs come into the home, so we always schedule a meet and greet before doggy daycare or boarding to make sure everyone is comfortable. 📅 Availability: I was recently laid off, so my schedule is wide open. Even when I’m working, I work from home full-time and am always around to give dogs the love and attention they deserve.

Nikki was AMAZING with our little guy! She made sure to take lots of photos and sent them over to show how much fun he was having! She truly treated Arctic as one of her own dogs.

Schedule
Pet care is the heart of my daily routine. I start each morning with a walk and breakfast for my dogs, followed by outdoor playtime in our fenced yard. In the afternoons, we go for a second walk or enjoy a trip to the lake or local trails. I’m home full-time, so I’m always around for feeding, potty breaks, cuddles, and anything else your pet may need throughout the day. Weekends usually include longer hikes or outdoor adventures.

In my home, pets are treated like family. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of structure and play. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor time, daily walks, and lots of cuddle time inside. I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, meds, potty breaks, and any special instructions—to keep them happy and stress-free. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and comfort. I stick to your pet’s schedule, keep things tidy, and send regular updates so you know your pet is safe and well-loved. Whether I’m providing boarding, daycare, or drop-ins, I always care for animals as if they’re my own.

Whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch in the yard, or just enjoying some snuggle time on the couch, I make sure every pet feels loved and engaged. For active dogs, we’ll take neighborhood walks, go on hikes, or have supervised playtime in the fenced yard. For more low-key pups, we’ll enjoy puzzle toys, treat time, or gentle play indoors. I tailor activities to each pet’s energy level, age, and preferences—my goal is to make sure they feel at home and have a tail-wagging good time!
