Availability
I have flexible availability on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday each week. I am available for drop-ins primarily and will do overnights on a case-by-case basis due to having my own babies at home that need care. Overnight availability is typically dependent on location.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive towards other dogs, or strangers or children. I will never approach another stranger or dog but it is good to know so that I can avoid areas where other dogs may be off-leash, or I can help to redirect attention on any walks.
A typical day
I love teaching new tricks, walking around local parks or near the river (some of my favorite spots), and playing fetch! I like to allow dogs to smell all the smells and get some enrichment while they are out and about. Training walks are also fun so that they can work their brain along with their body.

I have previous history working at a local animal rescue, managing a facility that houses animals waiting for foster homes. I am Low Stress Handling - Silver Edition certified, Fear Free certified, and I am a certified Family Dog Mediator. I also have recent experience working as a veterinary assistant and a rewards-based dog trainer. I have volunteered and worked with animals since I was in high school and I have been fostering puppies and kittens since October of 2019. Most importantly, I love dogs of all types and know that it takes patience to understand each new dog that comes my way. I am willing to take time to build trust with pets that may be fearful or unsure of strangers. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)!

Nikki is an amazing pet sitter! She is the only one I trust to watch my 5 inside cats and our hedgehog for a week at a time when our family is on vacation! She sometimes will not only do check in visits but we have allowed her to stay at our home through the night and has left everything in pristine condition every time! You want someone who truly cares about not only your animals but also your home when needing someone to watch long term Nikki is the perfect animal sitter. She learned my Hedgehogs routine also on food eating as they eat differently each day and can remember any animals type of feeding plan. Thank you again and again for being our pet sitter!
Nikki is an amazing pet sitter! We absolutely adore her. Her love and passion for caring for and even training animals, is beyond measure. We love having Nikki watch our pets whether it be for just one evening, or a few. She even taught our sweet 4 month old (at the time) Boxer puppy how to sit on command. She takes really cute pictures and gives plenty of status updates, without even being asked to. Anyone whom is able to have Nikki care for their pets, is very lucky!
Nikki is a magnificent animal caretaker! As my former roommate, she watched my Odie numerous times when I needed to make weekend trips. I trust her completely.
