I currently work from home and can work from anywhere with wifi! However, some days I have to work in the field so might be unavailable during the day. I would make sure to let you know in advance if I have to step out for work or have something planned and will ask how long your pet can be alone.

When pet sitting I really like to follow the owner’s instructions to a T. You know your dog best, so I will try to keep up your rules and schedule so it is an easier transition for the dog. I always make sure to ask if I am not sure of the answer. I have no problem with administering medication. Whatever your dog needs I can provide!

Up to how long they can be alone if I need to travel for work so I have an idea of when to get back. Any serious medical conditions. If a dog is reactive to anything (people, other dogs, wildlife, on leash, etc).

Your pet will get lots of love and play time! Even though I work from home my schedule is flexible allowing me to spend more time with your pet during the work day.

Pet care experience
Hi I’m Nikki! I’m 25 years old and own my own house! I have been around dogs since about 8 years old leading to having a family dog at 10. Around 13-14 I started caring for dogs in the neighborhood, taking them on walks or letting them out when I got home from school. I started dog sitting in college at family friends houses, which I really enjoyed. A few years ago, I started fostering dogs with a rescue in Philly. This has taught me to care for dogs of all ages and medical conditions. I have potty trained fosters dogs and have cared for them after surgeries. I am comfortable with any breed and any age dog. In addition, I have experience with dog training and am currently shadowing a dog training to become certified. I have experience caring for outdoor animals as well, such as chickens, horses, donkeys and goats. I have been caring for farm animals for about a year and enjoy it as much as indoor animals!

Nikki did a great job for my families needs. We have both outdoor and indoor animals that needed cared for. When we arrived home the animals were all happy and healthy and our home was just as we left it. Nikki also took the time to meet with us prior to staying which is good to do.
